when he said sea moth I thought about the time that I was going to the aurora and was attacked by the reaper leviathan, and just survived with my sea moth, only to crash into a rock at about 2mph and watch my seamoth split apart

I absolutely LOVE the Blood Kelp Trench!! The creepy seaweed intrigued me so much and the positives it has over the normal Blood Kelp zone heavily outweigh the negatives. Sure there aren’t as many resources and it’s harder to get you Cyclops into the Lost River (but not impossible), but there’s no Crabsquids, easier to navigate, gives you a safer entrance to the Lost River, has 2 entrances to the Lost River, and most importantly, no Ghost Leviathan! Definitely one of my top 3 favorite biomes

Actually, I always thought that the Floating Islands biome only sank quite recently. When you enter the biome your PDA says "Erosion padderns on these rock indicate that they once floated on the surface" or something along those lines. And in the center of the biome you can find a HUGE piece of wreckage from the Aurora. I think that that big piece of wreckage came down, hit the island, and smashed it into a bunch of peieces, creating the sort maze of little floating rocks that we now explore.
@TheLastBacon

It's definitely possible :) maybe that piece of the Aurora made them sink indeed!

5:02 Man the Deep Grand Reef has such a vibe, especially with the crab squids in the background. Built a huge base in the Grand Reef over top of a hole leading down to where its connected with a tonne of tubes, leading to a smaller scanner room/docking base in the Deep Grand Reef. Favourite area in the game. Wish it still had the corridor in the far corner leading to the Inactive Lava Zone. And awesome vid too, appreciate the dedication to the game!

They could have easily fixed the part about how sector 0 is still thrilling by adding some precursor vents that are no longer active (flowing). Then, one could assume that all the normal peepers did out by the time Robin arrived (because they probably cant live long in the cold) and it would asl add a cool lore speculation that all the precursor bases on the planet are connected via the vents and there could be other pockets of life on the planet near other unknown precursor bases.

In the crash zone there is some type of dunes but the aurora hit the crater at high speeds and most likely dragged itself across the sand, so we will mostly never know what was under the aurora. Also the reason the music was added there that was an edited version of the dunes biome was probably because it looked like the dunes biome after the crash.

Sparse Reef: SEARCH THIS, it’s completely devoid of predators and contains wrecks Grand Reef: Very dangerous but vital to the story Dunes: STAY AWAY Sea Treader’s Path: Can contain resources but stay away from the Sea Treaders Blood Kelp: Relatively safe except the occasional Ampeel, depending on which BKZ you go to you can also encounter Crabsquids Lost River: Speed through as quickly as possible, you don’t wanna get caught up in front of a Ghost Leviathan and a gang of River Prowlers Lava Zone: GOOD LUCK LMAO Crater Edge: Why would you even go here?
