i actually had a dream of subnautica, it was like i was in the subnautica world and had to go down into the purple mushroom cave without a vehicle, i died and went to get my stuff back then it turned into a minecraft lets play

6:06 The sand worm was probably going to be subnautica's ice worm but they never added it so they decided to make a creature called the ice worm in below zero which kinda does the same thing but more polished

I once had a day....nightmare? Where my mind decided “Hey, how about you’re a survivor of the Aurora. Oh and also your in the Crash Zone. It went like this. *Swims into the crash zone* *Hears a roar* *Continues swimming towards Aurora* *Reaper Leviathan comes out of nowhere* *Tries to dodge but gets legs bit off* *Reaper’s tail smacks me into Aurora making my spine get obliterated* *2 more reapers come and start to fight over me* *The first Reaper comes back and opens mouth wide. Afterwords eating me* Jesus that was scary.

I find it interesting that the sandworm comes out of what appears to be a giant tree leech, possibly suggesting some sort of symbiosis between the two, with sand worms growing within the tree leech and using it as cover to ambush prey, which could possibly be some sort of bottom dwelling leviathan or just reapers that happen to find themselves too close to the seabed.

My favourite removed item has to be the Chelonian Hull reinforcement module for the cyclops, which makes it so that you can go down to 3300M

Nice to see that many of these made it into below zero. Of course with the exception of game breaking ones like the terraformer and transfuser.

Haven't even relised that this video was uploaded on my Birthday :D Also imagine if the OG subnautica story was done in mentality that the volcano is active and you need to Construct the rocket before it explodes. Also Very cool would be as if you left the planet that volcano would actually errupt and you would see the explosion from the rocket. But on the other side the Below zero wouldnt be possible then.

Y'know, I don't know anything about Below Zero's story, but I wish that you'd get dialog that says "Warning: Volcanic earthquakes detected near the equator of the planet." And then after more dialog the volcano would explode, showing the Aurora being blasted into pieces as it flew up into the sky.

On the topic of the Sandworm, I think the concept of this creature was reused for the plant creature in Below Zero as it only attacks you when you get too close to it though that could just be some similarities that connect the two.

The White key can possibly be used in the base when you first see Al-An because Al-An wanted it for acess to the area where you can acess the part where the event triggers where the Vesper gets destroyed for the player's "freedom"

Lava sinkholes have been reimplemented in Subnautica Below Zero in a way, which is so cool!

You should look at biome concepts next.

I guess the Purple vents (The things that explode when they fill up) in Subnautica BZ are the byproduct of the Lava sinkholes

It's crazy that most of this stuff is being used in Below Zero but they make the games ecosystems even more interesting and the lore of the Precursors let's hope the new story improves them even better

I think most of the ones before the Kharaa one were removed due to gameplay limitations.

Another restaure that was scrapped is the grab crab,it would gather materials and would put it in their nests,some of these features where probably re-used for the stalker and the sea monkey from below zero.

In the dead zone we need a giant leviathan that is there instead of the ghosts. It would do the same thing as the ghosts just kill you but lots of people want something huge in the void.

Just because other people are doing it, I might as well too. A few nights ago I had a dream of subNautica below zero🥶❄️. It was just like underwater🌊, but it wasn't, it seemed I was on an island🏝🏖 and all the fish🐟🐠 were birds🐦🐦. I was either floating in the air💨q or walking very high up, but I saw a rock puncher🤜🗿 hitting a very green🌳 and very life-ful mountain🗻. I looked everywhere and it was covered with flowers🌺🌻🌹🌷 and there seemed to be no patch where there was no life🐢🌴🌿🌹. Probably because that night🌚 I was thinking that below zero❄️🥶 is gonna be the best thing ever, I played it today and it very much is.♥️

I wondered what that pit in lava zone was. The lighting went from red to blue and I was really confused. Also very scared to explore as it felt like something really big was nearby.

My theory is that the reason the planet is flooded is because of how close the moon is to the planet
