On the weekend, we took a leisurely departure and headed for Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
We strolled through the beautiful castle town and ate excellent sweets.
After spending some time relaxing by the beautiful sea and being healed in a hot spring, we headed to our sleeping places.
I cooked a quick dinner in the car and had a good time with my family.
The next day, we went to a roadside station with an abundance of seafood, where we enjoyed a delicious set meal and bought souvenirs for my parents' house, We then went to a Hagi-yaki pottery studio, where we experienced our first rokuro (a potter's wheel).
There, we had our first experience with a potter's wheel.
Yuri did her best to make a bowl.

We are a family of three: husband (Shin), wife (Ayako), and daughter (Yuri), both around 40 years old and our only daughter.
