I went to Kita-yatsugatake mountain for snowshoes trekking through a forest of tree ice.
After staying overnight in the car in minus 13 degrees Celsius, I was so moved by the wonderful scenery that I felt as if I had wandered into a different world.
After that, I went to see the icefalls, and the trip became a tour of spectacular scenery that can only be seen in winter.
