Playing videos on a SONY DVD Blue Ray player, all subtitles are appeared normal in two rows, but when I use the LG BP735 DVD Blue-ray player, the same subtitles of the same video are split-ed into three or even four rows. By re-sizing the letters via the menu of LG BP735 player, the problem persists. Are any suggestions on how to overcome this shortcoming?

Hey, nice video and accent. Is it easy to edit existing subtitles in this program? I just created a software that uses Bing to translate subtitles from English to Latvian (my language :) ). But the translation is not ideal by any means.

Any idea on how to know which font and set-ups are used in a srt fil within Subtitle workshop ? I want to use the same properties as the Criterion ones for my personal subtitles but can't find the exact same attributes by eye. Thank you by advance.

Try downloading the software again, but from softonic, and not elsewhere. That worked for me cause I had the same problem.

dear Eduardo, maybe you already solved problem. If you don't see picture in Subtitle workshop, only sound, convert video to .avi or mp4 with Freemake video converter(freeware).It will play OK in Subtitle workshop. Sometimes I also reinstall Subtitle workshop.

Hello ! This was very helpful ! But , I need a little HELP : I made a subtitle to a video which is mp4 file. But the video with the subtitle is working together only on the PC. How can I save the subtitle on this mp4 video in order to see my work on a smartphone ? Thank you !

How can I invert numbers to be at the beginning of the sentences? My target language is Arabic. And whenever I type numbers like '1, 2,3, for example, they show up at the end of the sentences.

@Michael aziz I have tried the older version and it didn't work; because there is option in the 6.0b called "VMR9" does not exist in older versions. then you must consider installation and configuring a codec program like K-Lite-Codec-Pack. just go to my channel under "Subtitle Workshop" playlist and play this one "Subtitle Workshop Video/Movie not showing or working problem solution 2017", I hope this will work for you.

The software only works with AVI format . Try a small AVI video for trial, if it works , try to convert your file into AVI

PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!!!!! I follow the step of loading movie but it plays only sound. I have installed all codecs, no luck, it plays in other subtitles software like Subtitle.edit but I prefer Subtitle workshop becuase it is more user.friendly. Thanks to all!!!!!

Dear ZandDi, Follow these steps: 1. Save as> 2. close the video> 3. open with "Microsoft word" and close it > 4. open Subtitle workshop>5. movie> add the same one you subtitles> 6. Load subtitle> 7. go to the file in step "4"> chhose it and the subtitle will appear.

whenever i try to open a video with subtitle workshop it immediately crashes... sometimes i get to watch like 10 seconds of the video, then it crashes IM FUCKING PISSED PLEASE HELP
