re you currently in Japan? If so, you should definitely go and check out Harajuku. I'm sure there are wonderful encounters waiting for you there! Also, July is a month full of major festivals in Japan, so if you have the opportunity, make sure to go and experience them.

Been into every single one of the store you showed. My favorite shoe store is the SNKR Dunk. Prices were more fair for the shoes I wanted to buy.

Thanks for the comment! That's impressive that you've been to all the stores! Did you buy anything? I couldn't afford it myself... I've been waiting for a lottery win for three years now.

Thanks for taking us into around Urahara. I was impressed of your knowledge of shoes. I need to visit my local Nike Store in Portland, Oregon and see what they have. But I'm sure they don't have the Ramon shoe. Lol. Question, is there a employee only Nike store there. We have one here, but you need to go with an employee or get invited to get the discounts.
@neojapanwalk
@neojapanwalk Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment and your interest in the Urahara area! I'm glad you found the information about the shoes interesting. Regarding your question about the Nike employee store, there is indeed an employee-only Nike store, but it is located in Tokyo, specifically in the Roppongi area, not in Urahara. The store hours can vary, but it generally opens around 11:00 AM or noon and closes between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, depending on the day. As for the access to the employee store, you'd need to have "close ties" with a Nike employee or their immediate family to get an invite. This could include being a friend or family member of an employee, or being an important vendor for Nike. The store typically carries a variety of athletic apparel, footwear, and accessories, including newer inventory not typically found in factory stores or outlets, and you could potentially get discounts as much as 30 percent off. I hope this information helps, and I wish you the best of luck in your shoe hunting! Let me know if you have any other questions.

@@neojapanwalk Thanks for the response back. You pretty much described the employee store here. Minus the Ramon shoe, I guess all Nike stores are more or less the same. Your knowledge of the shoes and the stores themselves are impressing. Take care brother. Looking forward to your next video.

I was wondering, what does the people of japan think about replica sneakers? Are they against reps?
@neojapanwalk
@neojapanwalk Жыл бұрын
There are many negative opinions about replica sneakers. In Japan, the sale and importation of counterfeit goods are strictly regulated, and law enforcement is vigilant. It is important to be aware of this and exercise caution, as selling such items can lead to legal trouble and potential arrest in Japan.

Sick of those Jordans and Dunks..Every dork I see wears those..with Nike I prefer the AirMax series but ASICS and New Balance is what I wear now to separate me from the fashion victims wearing those Js and SBs…

That's cool that we both wear New Balance sneakers! I can relate to not always winning sneaker raffles and not being able to afford the premium prices for Nike sneakers. It can be frustrating, right? Hang in there, and hopefully, one day you'll get lucky in a raffle and be able to rock those Nike kicks you've been waiting for. Patience is key, my friend!

05:37 None of the sneakers on display are rare. Most of the shoes on display are made in 2022 and 2023. How can these shoes be said to be *RARE* while there are still many on the market and easy to get... 🤣🤣...
@neojapanwalk
@neojapanwalk Жыл бұрын
Although they might be the latest sneakers, I wasn't able to purchase any of those shoes as I wasn't chosen in any raffles. Moreover, I don't have the financial means to buy them at a premium price. Therefore, from my perspective, all of those shoes were rare... 😭
