That’s fabulous. Exactly how I would do it too, from the box to the design overall going thru the cab. I wish i could hear it personally. Very impressive doug, and the time table makes a fellow installer be ok about killer systems and not killing yourself to finish in a week

I still wish you'd get Cheech Marin to drive the mule for a video. I used to hate to see the guys cut the back of the cab, but your 6th order ports are clean and shouldn't weaken the structure of the cab too much. Good show Doug!

Just a friendly reminder, you have fresh metal under the accordionrubber. And if you got that black urethane goo (for windshield installations on cars), you can seal the little gap in the accordionrubber.

Glad to see it in and bump'n like most of us knew it would. Can't wait till it's permanently installed and dialed in. Although I do worry about that amp unless CT Sounds fixed the issue they had with this series of amp,they did not have screws holding the circuit board to the heat sink so with slight vibrations the circuit board would flex back and forth till something breaks or malfunctions. Your luck you won't have any problems at all cause your Doug Bernard!!

That wasn't the Team amps. Not sure how the board is supported in them, but Doug took plenty of video of his with the cover off.

My mistake realized that after the fact. I believe that was the black chassis series of amps the 3,4,and 7k not sure what they called that series but realized afterwards that was not any of the Team Series of amps. I never miss an episode of Sound Man so I was trying to look every time he showed the beautiful back side of that 7k to see if I could see screws holding down the circuit board to the heat sink but couldn't tell without closer inspection. But I know Ct Sounds has their shit together and make awesome products but like everything not all goes as planned with that black chassis series they put out.

Did you want to put wheels on the bottom of the box? The holes are now to low. This will make the boy sit lower, changing the weight distribution of the truck, causing the truck to flip in a freak accident, fuel will dump out of the gas tank, your power wires are going to heat up, causing sparks which will ignite the fumes!!! Love the show doug

Actually, setting box lower in bed also lowers truck's center of gravity. If my math is correct, giving the dimensions of the box, weight of the materials used, weight of the W7, increased drag coefficient from box, he should be able to take a 50' radius turn at the apex now at 130mph instead of 25mph with it sitting 3/4" of an inch lower. On second thought, nevermind, I may have messed up a conversion here... or two....

Hell yea!!! Tonneau Cover? I've paid $100 for every fiberglass color matched tonneau I've bought. 97 s10 green, 94 c1500 white, 01 chevy 1500 black, an newest truck, 05 crew cab 1500 black. They were all short beds, and all folded over the bed rail for a smooth look and excellent at keeping water out! Very easy to find on Craigslist. I know, bed liner, just cheap added protection, like for Ral.......
