I've been watching some videos from a guy named Mr Electricity who restores audio equipment. He can disassemble a sub really quick. He pours some liquid all around the surround and spider and within seconds the glue starts to separate. I'm not sure what it is but it might be gasoline or acetone. It swells up the rubber. Once the surround is removed he can easily scrape away the leftover rubber. Look him up if you have some free time.

I reconed my 6 subs couple months ago. First time doing that job. It was intimidating before actually starting it. . Turned out well tho.

Went to my 2nd show last weekend and I learned how to make the diodes with male and female ends to add or subtract one as needed. My dash freaks out over 15.1 so when I got to the show I added a 4th diode to up the voltage to 15.8. Last show I was at a 14.8. So on the 14.8 i got a 150.8 35 hz 4406 watts. This weekend on 15.8 volts I hit a 151.7 35 hz 4004 watts. So thanks for the lesson!! Had a few guys walk up while I was doing it and I told them i learned it from ol jerry! They thought it was a good idea!! Iv got a 6th order which watching your videos helped me design it. 2 x15v3s on a bass 8k and 40ah yinlong bank. Mechman 240. I'm pretty happy with a 151! Thanks for sharing on youtube you sure helped me!

i have a question bro i see you like to make little videos to help ,, do i need sound deadener to move hair? i have 4000 watts clamped on music and my entire truck jumps but there is no wind at all. the bass digs into your skull but does not produce wind... i have a 14cube quad 15 box subs up and port back in a suburban. i can put a shirt in the port and blow it all around but i think all my air is going out my back doors and sides before it gets to the front ... ?? would deadener prevent that or am i to the point of needing to wall the whole truck ?
