This is a long story sorry😂 I just got promoted to basically be the 2nd boss of my workplace.I used to need this subliminal a lot. I was a very slow worker and I always felt undervalued in a way because I was not the best so most feedback I got was bad. I started hating my job, but after a conversation with my boss last summer I found motivation again, and after my vacation she saw how much I was growing in a short time. Eventually I fell back in love with my job. Since last summer I’m 18 which means I am now allowed to supervise on the work floor whenever my boss or someone else who has more experience with is are not on at work. I never really got the chance to learn how to supervise, I was supposed to but my colleagues all had to go to different branches of our store because a lot of people were sick or on vacation. I couldn’t really handle it, I got stressed every time and the store was a huge mess at the end of the day because I didn’t know how to plan the day. Then one day I had to go supervise in a different branch, and to my surprise it went perfectly. After that I had to do it a lot more, this week I even ran the store all on my own one day! And the day after I was at a branch with only 2 staff members which is way too less. I didn’t have to supervise, but the girl didn’t know everything so I kinda took on that role. We are now in the proses of counting every product in the store (we do this every January) and I had to prepare everything. I had to make a map of the store, give every shelf a number, make post its with the numbers, stick the corresponding numbers to their shelves, made a whole planning who is going to count what. This was the first time I ever did it and I did it all on my own. My boss said that she was so proud of me, and she offered me a promotion to become the assistant boss in that particular branch I was working at that day. It isn’t official yet, because my boss her boss has to approve it first, but the chance she does is big. I’m almost crying while writing this because before my vacation I sucked so bad at my job and I hated it, which was the reason I stated this subliminal, but I quickly gave up because I was like I don’t want this life anymore. but when I came back from vacation I have improved so much all on my own that now I’m becoming the 2nd boss of the store at just 18 years old.
