I throughly enjoyed these old film clips. I really believe that Weatherby should bring back their old magazine/catalogs

I am from New Zealand and i can remember seeing one of these rifles in the rack behind the counter in 1965 i will never forget it. I was 10yrs old and the sporting goods store was also the place where you got your haircut in those days. After getting my haircut one day the proprietor was taking it out of the rack for a man to look at....i stopped at the counter next to the man and was in total awe of this thing as he was 'trying it on' working the bolt...checking the lop...i couldn't take my eyes off it...Weatherby Mark V Deluxe in 30.06....that drop dead gorgeous Walnut Monte Carlo ...the checkering...some things from your childhood you never forget....that was one of them for me...

I love these a true success story still going on today and I hope long after Im gone. Their move out of California was the best thing in years and should be a Godsend to them.

Til this day I still am beyond thankful that my dad introduced me to weatherby rifles and since then I have never looked at other brand rifles, I recently purchased the Mark V accumark in 6.5-300 beautiful rifle,

Amazing how they explained in detail every facet of the manufacturing process. Most manufacturers will not allow a camera to be used on their premises; it might reveal valuable info to competitors.

Thanks for uploading this! Certainly brings back memories of myself as a kid in the 60's and 70's reading every gun magazine I could get my hands on. Very few rifles then were available left handed then and Weatherby was one of them. A left handed 300 weatherby magnum mark v was my dream rifle. I did not know they polished the bore by hand with a rod and lead plug with carborundum. I thought that was only done these days by gunsmiths to improve the rifles accuracy.
