Hello Jade. I used to watch your videos almost 5 to 6 years back and today I'm in the UK. All of a sudden your memory came to my mind but I couldn't recall your name so I asked my cousin, as he was also learning from your KZfaq channel at that time so he told me and I searched for it. Glad to see you after a long time. Keep doing the great work! Thank you for your videos ☺️

Hi Jade, I remember you posted a vlog about Peter Hitchens. And how you looked at Mr Hitchens as a guide & felt you would never be able to “catch up” Look at his interview: “ What does it mean to be truly educated” Reason why I recommend it, is because he doesn’t consider himself to be educated.

success in any language is watching A LOT of movies 🤣 and reading books. It's worked for my Portuguese and Russian so far, and doing this the rest of your life.

Oh sorry Jade, when we love something like English, we must learn to be patient with its loving including its hell, whatever tiredness illness and so on. And hell is converting to paradise. Never believe in accessing paradise and avoiding hell. About speeding up my learning, I use software to speed up my reading and also comprehension. You see how I am ready to do for this beautiful language. I can do more, burning myself, why not die and acquire the title of martyrdom for my loving. My sincere condolences for the queen, she visited Algeria in the eighties after a sad event earthquake that strokes a region of a country causing thousands of death.

Hello Jade, I hope you could help me with understanding this simple doubt I have. In the following sentence, "One of my friends who live/lives in Dubai is visiting me this weekend.", should I use singular or plural verb in the adjective clause? I thought we should always use singular verb because, in the "one of..." expression, we only care about what the singular noun(one) does. I hope what I am trying to say makes sense. Thank you!

Plural - as it's your friend that lives there. If it was you: I live in Dubai instead of I lives in Dubai but because it's your friend living there: use lives.

Jade can you please feature more fluffy cats or doggos on your videos? Something fluffy like a Nowegian Forest Cat or Maine Coon Cat - or a Labrador puppy or Golden retriever. Even a beagle? You know - nice looking types not the horrible muscle doggo types. Everyone needs to see a fluffy pet when learning a language or related stuff.
