On an iPhone, tapping a message while composing a new one will automatically change the recipient to the sender of the tapped message. That definitely happened to one of the writers irl before this episode

Shiv "The top team....you know, you'll obviously be fighting for your lives.." The writers somehow always manage to foreshadow without making it obvious.

All of these kids have a moment where they have leverage or power or influence and then make one TERRIBLE mistake that shuts it all down. This is Roman’s, Kendall’s was the car crash, and Shiv’s was saying she’s the one in the Pierce negotiation. It’s really sad because they’re all capable of doing the job, but they just get in their own way.

My favourite scene of this show. So well played by everyone, Kieran did such a good job and it was everything Roman deserved.

Its really interesting to see Shiv's physical reaction as Roman convinces his dad a merger of "equals" would still make sense.

I always love it when these odd little subplots in shows come crashing headfirst into the main storyline. Never would have thought this is how Logan, Shiv, etc. learned about Roman and Gerri (or that they would learn about it at all), but fuck me, it was beyond perfect.

Love how this is how Roman goes down. Each kid goes down based on something they inherited in their personalities. Shiv is angry, bitter and arrogant, kendal is selfish, lacks confidence and is seeking approval...and also arrogant, Roman is irresponsible, selfish and inapprioriate. I'm pretty happy to see that his little 'joke' is what killed him in the end after what he did to that poor kid in the first episode with the baseball game. And Tom will win the thrown because he was willing to take that million away from that boy because he's just that low.

Sometimes I feel this show ended too soon, but the writing is so densely packed with great lines and figures-of-speech, there's more than enough to savor on on every rewatch. "I can win any bout with a boxer but I don't know how to knock out a clown."

what I've noticed in every meeting that shiv's been in is that, shiv never adds anything different or unique to the conversation, she's always repeating the most obvious statements that could be said, and she says it with such so much confidence that you almost won't notice it, which makes it easy for her to keep her presence in a meeting without suffering risk. But once you notice it, you can immediately see how incompetent she is. I think the best example of this was the meeting at the panic room when the deal with Rhea began, I couldn't help but cringe at the pathetic and uninteresting arguments she was throwing out, same applies for the president picking part. Roman and Kendall atleast does bring some genuinely new ideas to the conversation at times, regardless whether htey're bad or good.
