Season 3 is underrated. It has some of the best episodes in the series. This one, "Too Much Birthday", is one of my favorites.

Kendall going through all the gifts by people he doesnt know to find the gift from his children (that he probably hasnt seen in weeks) is just sad. Roman is just a bad winner tho. Imagine if Shiv went pissing on the phone with Mattsson. Then she would have closed the deal. Because thats what business deals are. Or, well, agreeing to meet at least. Pissing on somebodys phone... On a more serious note, I think its interesting to see that bathroom scene and ask yourself what would have happened if Shiv was in that room. The business world in Succession, probably much like the real world, is dominated by men. The weird rich kids with all the money are machos who piss on their apps and bond like that. Shiv isnt all too serious of a person, but scenes like that prove that she is living in a world where shes constantly having to catch up because of her gender.

Just to clarify, in the last episode when they were eating in the diner, Greg wasn't asking to go to jail with Tom. He was asking if Tom would take the fall for Greg's crimes as well since it seemed like a given that Tom was going to jail for the whole cruise situation. Tom agreed to let Greg "hang" his crimes on him so that Greg wouldn't have to go to jail too.

Season 4 is amazing can’t wait to see your react to it.

All the siblings love to punch down on the others when they are winning, hate it when they get punched when they are losing and somehow cannot manage to pull out of that cycle.

Roman is the best "culture fit" CEO. He speaks the language of these slime balls like Matsson and Mencken but it gives off such a Mad King vibe if he really had all the power.

And Kendall's manic episode lasting 7 episodes is over, as per usual he self-destructed, but it is deeply rooted in who he is as a person and his psychological problems. I mean, he literally wanted to go on the cross like Jesus while singing "hoonesty...". Sad, because his intention, at least at first, at the end of s2, was self-preservation and he said the right words. Should've just got out, at the start of s3, and live his life. Tom basically got "hey, also to Tom, right? Also he is here, right?" from his wife after no prison was confirmed for him, ofc he went to his "true love" to express at least some emotions. And yes, he absolutely abuses Greg all the time.

jeremy strong described it as, that kendall is empty inside and all of this is just him trying to fill the big void

47:10 -- i've read somewhere that it is considered a poor taste to give watches as gifts amongst mega rich people, because it is the most "whatever" unpassionate gift, showing that a person doesnt care, because they dont need watches and have tons of them, so unless it is inscribed it is literally junk.

Connor Roy elected president (of shitting his bag) 😂😂😂 Those news articles are so insanely funny. Other than that it’s a pretty tragic episode, the (literal) fall of Kendall Roy and the rise of Romulus Roy.

I was deeply upset by Roman's actions towards Kendall, and it's even worse when I recall Kendall's immediate protective instinct towards his little bro when Logan strikes Roman in the face.

Initially, I found Season 3 to be the worst (read: least amazing) season. But after many rewatches it's risen a lot in the rankings to where it might even be second best under 4 at this point.

s2 is my favorite season and s4 is the last one on my ranking
