We never see each of them (besides Connor) really working at their office. Mostly, they like to walk around, on the meeting, critizise people, and them making chaos. While we see Tom and Greg are mostly on their office tables, working, looking at their computer, typing, checking on the data or whatsoever.

@@iloveads123 yeah true, something that this series had taught me is that, this rich people are not different, or intellectual people, that they want us to believe, shure some may actually have earned they keep, but a lot are just sons of dads and mother's, that the only reason they know so much about finances and etc..., is because they could buy the education for it. This series explained to me why we sometimes saw some ceos doing stupid stuff like in Unity for example, before i though it must have a more complicated reason they don't won't show the public, but now, i know, they just made a stupid mistake. I wouldn't say Tom is perfect, but definitely a better choice than the kids, he doesn't have this ego and will of controlling the company like the others, he will obey the shareholders, and he is actually competent, unlike Romam who fired Gerri, one of the best and most competent works, because of feelings, and Kendall thinking this was a good idea.

When you think about it, his kids could be the reincarnations of the old guards. Kendall as Frank, Roman as Karl and Shiv as Gerri. But, sadly, none of them fit the criteria of the old guards and all of them are always disrespecting them. Roman always rude to Frank despite Frank is his mentor to be COO and also sexually assaulted Gerri, Shiv is always rude to Gerri despite Gerri is her Godmother, Pretty much all of them always being rude to Karl. But, Kendall is mostly respecting Frank despite all of his flaws.

Whenever we see Connor and Logan are interracting, it's watching casual Son and Father interracting. Connor also treats him with respect and even calling him "Pa" or "Pop". Deep down, Connor still hurts for Logan's neglicence and also for putting his mom on asylum and also makes him being alone since he was a kid. But, Connor learns how to survive with no love for years. Even he said that if Willa doesn't truly love him and just leave him whenever she wants, he's ready. It's also surprising how Connor doesn't go to dark path like being a criminal or even being a drug addict like Kendall with that kind of life.

Also, Logan is always refused to tell his personal life to his kids because he's ashamed of it until Ewan spoke the facts on his funeral. Logan has too much dignity and pride, he's so out of touch for reality. He's even abandoning his kids to his company because his real kid is the company, his real baby.

Too be fair, whenever we see Logan and Connor are talking, we see the bond between Father and Son and they talk casually like son and father. Meanwhile, Logan treats his other kids mostly like his co-workers and the kids are trying to be polite but they act like smartass most of the time especially how Kendall can be aggresive and cocky, Roman talks dirty and Shiv mostly talks whatever she wants and being too direct. Meanwhile, look at Connor talks to him, he mostly being casual, chill, relax and even calling him "Pa" or "Pop" and Logan mostly way relax with Connor rather than his other kids.

This may be my favorite scene of the last season. Here is Logan's humanity distilled. He's appreciating a simple folk song, a song of the common people, that could not be farther from his monstrous legacy, entirely back to his boyhood roots. There is nothing in the tape to suggest any typical Succession dynamics. There is no power play, no motive, no angle. Kerry rests her head on his shoulder. He is in the moment, present, appreciative as he can be. I think the siblings weep not just for their father but for themselves -- in their eyes I sense a hollowness... when was the last time any of them appreciated a song, or sang just to sing, or engaged with anything creative or nurturing or supportive of others? As much of a monster Logan was he was also deeply human, but in the end could not pass on the humane aspects to his children -- maybe Connor, but all the Roys grew up blinded and ultimately crippled with gilded promises.

Also, you notice every time Logan and Connor are interracting, you see a casual Father and Son bonding? Logan mostly always smiling and relaxing whenever he talks with Connor and Connor even call him "Pa" or "Pop". Connor deep down still resents him for neglecting him but he has growing up with no love for years, he's very used to it. He's even said if Willa leaves him for real, he's ready. Meanwhile, for the rest of Logan's kids, all they want to get is his approval. They become aggresive if he doesn't do what they want and throw him under the bus. They all are still children inside adult's body. They are all the kids who's playing outside their dad's office. They also don't like rejection, instead of taking it like real adults, they rebel against him. Connor is the only one who takes rejection kindly but he's never giving up and keep going like how his weird campaign for being the president fail, he later wants to expanse his business on Slovenia.

@@bellabell6659 Connor never tried to pull Logan's rug, so that explains why Logan would rather spend time with Connor rather than with the other three. I think he understood Connor the most because he was the simplest. Connor cared mostly about money and not being involved in the power plays. Logan could talk to him about buying a mausoleum or whatever and not have to worry about Connor using that information against him somehow. The other three wanted power, status, and acceptance from him. None of which he would give willingly. If he told them things he told Connor he’d have to watch his back.

Also, whenever we see Connor and Logan, we see a son and father interract and Logan realized how ignorant he was to Connor so they tried to bond more on adulthood. Meanwhile, most of the time, we see Logan and the other three is talking about work, power and authority but with Connor is like a natural bond. Also, Connor keep calling him "Pa" while the other just "Dad" as the term of endearment. You can see Logan most of the time is happy and relax with Connor. Connor has survived alone with no one on his side even his relationship with Willa is platonic. But, in the end of the day, they support each other. Willa could leave him when he's down and she maybe stays for his money but she understands Connor and his wellbeing.

If any one scene from the entire series can be said to capture the genius of Jesse Armstrong, this is it. It is a wrenching scene: the kids suddenly get a glimpse, but only through time and on video, of the tender side of this hard-nosed Scotsman. The filming, the acting and direction are flawless. The choice of song is the absolute cherry on the cake. Robert Burns preceded the emergence of Scottish industrialists but he would known the type. He was politically radical, a socialist, and a supporter of American independence. As a poet he knew men without women are hollow things and we got to see Logan's "lasses," gathered together by Caroline at his funeral. I've never cared so much for characters I didn't like. Succession set the bar impossibly high.
