100% Marsha is lying. Willa put it best when Marsha tells her she's come so far and willa says "we both have". The only difference is that Marsha has poise and a french accent, and she was smarter than the other women in Logan's life when it came to secure herself a great position, but c'mon, "game recognizes game" :D

I don't believe for a second Logan was having twice daily "intimate" conversations with Marcia. Not for a second. Everyone showed up to that wake to claw their way to power, money and position, and re-establish themselves after this shakeup. She was just trying to establish herself again. On paper that apartment goes to her and she sold it immediately. She's self-interested like all of them.

Roman has turned into my favorite character. He's got some legit character growth while still dropping his incredible one liners.

Of all the kids, I think that Roman is the loneliest. After Logan died, shiv did go into Tom’s arms. Kendall went into Stewie‘s arms, and Connor and Willa were more united than ever. At the end of that day, Roman went home alone. He really has no one.

People keep bringing the car accident, but I feel that storyline has been resolved. Kendall's confession was the climax of that whole thing.

Love the frank - Ken interaction? Frank is the dad Ken never had.

i was drunk trying to watch this last night but accidentally started before it came out, i got 20 minutes in to what i thought was just a very long flashback before i realized i was just watching episode 1

Roman is more of a foot soldier - Kendall is the right choice, he has the most business experience, worked with Logan and is the most like his father. Shiv is a good communicator- I can see her running for political office. The ending credit music was very operatic - appropriate.

If the show is being realistic Colin can't say anything about Kendall being involved in that kids death (Ken didn't actually kill the kid plus he tried to save him so his only crime would be fleeing the scene) because Colin on the authority of Logan tampered with the scene and cleaned up any evidence of Ken being there so Colin would be going to jail as well.

Shiv is very much still in love with Tom. Sorry, but you guys dont understand strong women. She is in love with and NEEDS Tom. She is pretty far in her pregnancy. But too much is going on right now. Tom's comments about France. Was his way of reminding her, that he was patient then and is now. He asked "Is this okay...." with every touch. He wooed her. He understands her prickly nature and he is okay with it. She is still feeling really raw about his betrayal. But, she gets it. Tom is the ONLY person squarely in her corner. Once she allows herself, to navigate the feelings. I think she will return to the warmth Tom offers. He truly loves her. And I think, he has actually earned her respect. Tom is more attractive now, to her than ever. But, she has to fear him. The ROys kill the things the fear. But... its Tom. The Father of her child.

Unreal episode. Every character was perfect. I love Carl Jerri and the rest of the old heads getting to speak freely. Debating putting the note in the toilet was hilarious. I could go on and on. A+ television. Tom realizing the old heads had no use for him and immediately switching to sucking up to the kids was perfect. A real chameleon.

They said no one watches these but their review of season 1 is how I found out about their channel in the first place.

Unfortunately even though I know Kendall is awful I can’t help but love that end grin.

I think you do Stewie a disservice saying he's THAT cold. The way he closed his eyes when he was hugging Kendall shows that he does care deep down. That whole scene was based around them being such old friends. Such as the way Kendall welled up a little as soon as he was face to face with Stewie. Those two moments said it all.

The line begins under Kendall's name and only "crosses out" near the end. The only way it would be a cross out is if Logan is left-handed and started the line on the right, but he's not left handed - he wears his watch on his left wrist. My theory is that Logan underlined it when Kendall threw him under the bus for cruises - he could finally see that Kendall would do anything to protect himself, even "kill" his own family.

I love the fact it really looks like Logan crossed out Kendall name but he was able to spin it into being chosen as the Co-CEO.

My take is the old guard knows Kendall will betray his sibs for the sight of his penciled in, crossed out name. Once the sibs eat each other, the old employees endure.

You have to remember Stewey got screwed over by Kendall. Stewey’s feelings were hurt by Kendall. And he never really knows what Logan had over Kendall.

The only part of Kendalls name that's crossed out is Roy so Logan was definitely underlining his name. If you're crossing a name out you start from the first name , plus if he was crossing it out and somehow messed up cuz he's old he would've just used whiteout or completely scribbled over his name.

I saw someone say Ken was wrong about not answering Matsson call and I’m not sure if Ken was wrong about turning down Matsson phone call. Matsson throwing a hissy fit showed more about him. Honestly, they truly weren’t prepared to answer his call and it did work out better for them to have an answer to the CEO position before they actually speak to Matsson

Amazing episode. The ONLY slight letdown was the Tom/Shiv interaction on the stairs. It was good, but Tom's story about when they first hooked up was a bit...blah. I was hoping we were going to get some poignancy on the level of the Wedding night episode. Alas not to be.

I think Marsha (?) was lying - and I think it was meant to seem that way. She started by saying how she spoke to Logan on the phone every morning and afternoon, but upon being questioned further by Kendall, she said the phone calls were in the evening. I think the inconsistency was designed to seem like a lie.

Another pov that this episode reminds me of, is when you win the lottery, every family member you didn't know comes out of the woodwork to say they knew you well.....

It is underlined. The line starts below the letters. But it can still mean that he underlined it as reminder to reconsider or get a new name there.

Beau, there's a guy on National Public Radio that sounds just like you. Great wrap-up. I thought Kendall's name was crossed out. First Logan puts his pencil at Kendall's name (not perfect) but proceeds to cross it out by the time the pencil head gets to the end of his name. This is not what I first thought. As stated, even Kendall will always be wondering.

Marcia was totally correct in how she treated Kerry. Kerry was so inappropriate to show up and ask Marcia if she could get her things out of the marital bedroom Marcia shared with Logan. Marcia was actually restrained considering that Kerry was having an affair with her husband.

Best recap I've heard. Glad I discovered you! So no one ever seems to make note of the fact that Shiv is pregnant in the show because Sarah Snook was pregnant at the time (and still is...she's due next month). I was wondering how they were going to handle it once I noticed she was showing a tad in episode 3. You could tell that her face was a little fuller as well. Anyway, in light of all this, did Sarah Snook actual take that pratfall in this episode or did they somehow use CGI to paste her face on that of a stunt woman?! I can't imagine she would risk her pregnancy on that. On the other hand, I may be completely wrong about this. Perhaps season 4's episodes were filmed well before she began showing (or even conceived!). So perhaps it was just my imagination that Shiv looked like she had a little more fullness to her. Even so, would they risk a sprained ankle having Snook take that fall on her own?

Kendal was crossed out, Greg was questioned marked because Logan realised that his brother to shaft him would bequeath all of his stake in the company to Greg. Greg is a dark character make no mistake. He's gone from working in a theme park to mentioned on a note by the most powerful man in the game. Gregs grandfather will die. Tom will become Gregs bitch. Shiv will back Tom and encourage him because she'll want revenge for Kendal who will try and screw his siblings because 'thats what dad would have done' Greg will use the evidence he didn't fully destroy for Tom to manipulate him. Roman will figure what Gregs up to but too late.......
