I had one that lasted aover a year. I just ordered 3 more for other vehicles. As mentioned in the comments above you can't just bend the arms in the direction you want them to go there are buttons on the side that lock the joint in place. If you bress the button each are move move freely and when you release the button each arm lock very secure in place. The suction cup is the strongest suction cup I have ever seen on a phone mount. For a Chinese product this is great.

You didn't press the silver button before changing the angles. Unfortunately, you were bented it by force and that's how you ruined the best suction cup phone holder without reading the information on yellow stickers.😅

I just got this. You didn't push the silver buttons at each join which releases each section so you can adjust it several different ways. YOU forced it and broke it. It works fine for me!

You're suppose to press the silver buttons on holder for it to adjust so as far as I am aware it's not garbage does the job a 100% perfectly but watching your video just shows that you have broken it by not following straight forward instructions so in this situation sorry chap but your at fault 😀
