This is the first video of our new series - "very hard sudoku sudoku puzzles". Here, I have tried to explain all the tricks that are used to solve the hard sudoku puzzle in detail. This video will help you a lot in understanding how to solve an extremely difficult sudoku puzzles. This is an absolutely brain teaser puzzle.

Avi, it was really a very tough puzzle. Watched the whole without a wink Conjugate pairs seems tough to understand but have to watch 2-3 times may be even more till it's glued in our mind. Your way of explanation was excellent. Wherever technique was applied, you ensured to explain to your patrons.. That's one of the BIGGEST quality you possess. And the patience you have needs an applause. Cannot visualise any teacher who would take so much of pain that you take. God bless you in all your endeavours.

Pranam uncle... thank you so much for thr blessings and love .... conjugate pair is also pretty easy... perhaps, I though that everyone knows this and I didn’t explained it in a more elaborate manner.... that was my fault... empty rectangles needs a separate video altogether.... i am not uploading a separate video on empty rectangles because we need to understand a few more tricks before going into empty rectangles... thank you so so much uncle for the lovely comments one after another .... ❤️❤️

Thanks. Really very difficult puzzle. Empty rectangle is little bit difficult. Needs sharp eye and concentration. Enjoyed the puzzle. Now it shows we are really becoming an expert level sudoku puzzle solvers. ☺☺☺

Yes... this was a real tough puzzle ... the difficulty grade made me solve this puzzle... i think that there is no other way to solve this puzzle.... i have seen many puzzles solved with even more techniques but the grading points were lower.. might be the toughest as per grading as far as puzzles we have solved till now are concerned.... and empty rectangles is not difficult at all ... there are certain mobile apps where we can mark all the digits with a click.. in those apps this trick works wonders... i solve as if we are solving on a papar and such case makes this trick difficult... thank you for the love ❤️

Thank you so much ❤️🙏 Before XY chain we need to understand X Chain also. I haven’t uploaded a video on that trick. You must be knowing X Chain, but I don’t think that most of the audience know it. So, X chain is definitely the next trick that we will learn. And then, we will learn XY chain as well. XY chain is really difficult to explain and once we get the trick understood, then the trick will certainly get easier with experience. But, yes! After we have learnt XY chain, I think that many of the tricks would become useless. That’s for sure.

Its easy to solve when app highlights candidates, but its almost impossible to do it on paper. my respect.

No it is possible but you should use all the basic techniques and try to find as much as numbers. After that the candidates become less and you can wrote it down. Exceptions: they are some extreme puzzle where this will not work as you will out of numbers to find out and you have to put candidates early on while solving sudoku

Excellent puzzle. First I solved it on my own. It took me 25 minutes. I used many tricks like XYZ, x wing, swordfish and yes unique rectangle learnt through your excellent tutorial videos. Then I watched you solve it . New trick of empty rectangles learnt. Will have to learn it thoroughly. Thanks a lot,👍

Dear Avi: I have been working with sudoku puzzle since almost a year and have found your explanation of various techniques very crisp and useful. I solved this puzzle just by the use of unique rectangle at R5 C8C9 and R9 C8C9. Have tried it twice and found it quite easy. But am really confused in view of every one including u saying this is a very difficult puzzle. Can we have further discussion on this.

Yes these techniques are useful but nothing compared chaining techniques. Have you ever heard of alternate inference chains.
