Was on a ship as a officer trainee with mostly Filipino guys, they are literally the coolest guys onboard. One of them had this live version on his hard drive, we would listen it every morning before starting to work. Man I miss those guys. Respect to all filipino especially the seafarers

Gary Ignacio was singing it live at a little acoustic club on Quezon Ave. and I immediately loved it ...enough that I did a cover soon after as well :) ...felt really proud when he emailed me saying he liked my version. This song is inappropriate para maging song para kay God. Basahin mo ngang maigi ang lyrics...clearly para sa taong mahal mo ang song na to. Some lyrics doesn't make any sense para maging kanta kay God or about God. You're the one that never lets me sleep (hmm di ka pinapatulog ni God?) To my mind, down through my soul you touch my lips (hinawakan ni God labi mo...more appropriate para sa kasintahan) You're the one that I can't wait to see (so you can't wait to see God... lol. You feel the presence of God but never see him) With you here by my side, I'm in ecstasy (really???) I am all alone without you (ok pwede tong line para sa Diyos) My days are dark without a glimpse of you (glimpse... sulyap...para kay God?? Really??) But now that you came into my life..I feel complete (hmm pwede din kay God to but make more sense pag tao...kasi God doesn't come into our lives..tayo gumagawa ng paraan para mapalapit sa kanya...unlike sa tao na darating talaga sa buhay mo) Your love is like the sun blah blah (clearly this song lines ay puro your love...well we all know what love is...when we talk about love...it's always/mostly associated with romance or family...I am not saying di to pwede about sa pagmamahal ni God but you get the point!)
