We wrap up our roof modifications by re-installing our newly wrapped headliner with suede in our 2005 Chevy Silverado. We decided since we have the headliner out when we added sound deadening to the roof, it would be a great opportunity to wrap the headliner with a different material and give the interior a new look!
Synthetic suede was used and Welwood contact adhesive (for professional use) was used to attach the suede to the headliner.

Great job - looks excellent and thanks for sharing with the channel. Would you consider making a playlist for the Chevy build/mods you're doing to make them easy to find - all in one place? Thanks!

Amazing video; Most imformative, and the end product looks fantastic. Question. Did noise volume in the cabin change at all?

Thanks John! I did notice a little difference when I first did the Dynamat on the roof, mostly when it would rain. I haven't driven the truck on the highway yet to evaluate road noise with the new foam in the doors.

I'm surprised the rearview mirror doesnt come off. I used to own a 2004 Silverado and it was held on by a torx screw. But great build, I enjoy watching your videos.

@@1ruckus1 Usually there's three wires. Unit needs power ground and illumination or accessory. Some vehicles it may be plug and play if you already have a plug. What kind of vehicle are you looking to upgrade?

@AnthonyJ350
@AnthonyJ350 2 жыл бұрын
@@1ruckus1 If you have the console with lights, I would pop it out to see if it has a plug with 3 wires, it should. You should be able to plug in a unit with Homelink built in and program it to your garage door.

@@zacharygruis902 I reglues the push pins. You'll have to find replacements if that happened. I also rely on the center overhead, visors and grab handles to hold it in place.
