This reminds me of some of my favourite extreme metal bands like Ved Buens Ende, Demilich, Gorguts, Artificial Brain, Gigan, Ulcerate, Pyrrhon, Sunless, Portal, Ulsect, Deathspell Omega, Baring Teeth and Dodecahedron, among others. Lovely stuff

Juan Calquin No problem here's a few of my favorites, Abyssal, Aevangelist, Azoic, Deathspell Omega, Grey Heaven Fall, Lvx Haeresis, Mitochondrion, and Portal. Cleaner more "mainstream" sound - Behemoth, Belphegor There's some overlap in this genre, a lot of the times you'll get bands just calling themselves Black or Death metal, but they have the Blackened Death sound. Also sometimes you'll have bands that will lean more towards the Death Metal side, like the one in this video, and then you'll have ones that lean more to the black metal side. This band is fucking amazing! saw them at their first show in 3 years and they fucking killed it! It's good to know how much great metal comes from my home state Minnesota. Sunless, Invidiosus, Astral Blood, Incinerate, Mutation. to name a few.

Doug Nash Genres are just meaningless words, but yet there are bands that take their fine craft and bring some really amazing stuff to the table. Although I have a feeling that black metal has been having real poor musicianship along the way.
