Hi, if you have Petrol coming out, it will be to do with the Float or the brass seat. If you have not already done it , it would be worth taking the bowl off, checking for dirt on the tip of the float needle and the brass seat . You only need a very small piece of dirt to stop the needle seating. If no dirt and the float is sitting correctly you may need to order a new float and possibly brass seat. These parts are available online. Hope this helps.
