Let's admit that we can see suga actually have this soft spot for rapmon

Min-Yoongi (Suga) born in Daegu, South Korea, into a poor family. Growing up, he was a good student in school, but rather than paying attention in class, he spent his time writing lyrics on scraps of paper instead as a means of pursuing his passion for music. He did mention that he was inspired to make music after listening to “Epic High” which he heard in sixth grade. However, when his parents found out about this, they were more than angry. They threw away all of his lyrics and forced him to focus more on his studies. It was around the same time that Yoongi began developing an interest in basketball; he was extremely good at it and would play with the kids afterschool and on the weekends. There are several clips of Yoongi playing point guard and making three-pointers with accuracy. But music was always his passion, and he continued producing despite his parents’ disapproval. At the age of 13, he began composing works and learned how to use MIDI by then. Because of the poor condition of his family, he was forced to work, but he decided to go to other places to sell his music on the streets. However, it was extremely hard to sell music, and Yoongi in both interviews and his music talks a lot about being scammed (people cheated him out of his money) for his music. One of the most heartbreaking lines he’s said was that when he tried to buy a $2 bowl of noodles, he didn’t have enough money to take the bus home; often times, he had to choose between eating and taking the bus and even more often, went hungry. Yoongi became part of the underground rapper team known as D-Town (Daegu Town) and took on the name Gloss. An iconic rap of his goes by the title 518-062, which signifies the issue that Gwangju's area code is 062 and 518 is the date of Gwangju Democratization movement. Around this same time, Yoongi auditioned for BigHit’s “Hit It!” audition. After auditioning, he placed 2nd out of all the rappers, and landed a spot as a trainee. He was eventually approached by Bang PD-nim himself, who promised Yoongi he would be in a rapper group with little to no choreography and heavy emphasis on his producing ability. Yoongi accepted, and he was then introduced to Namjoon. From that day, he and Namjoon have lived together (they’ve lived together the longest out of everyone in Bangtan), and they began waiting for the rest of the members. While as a trainee, however, Yoongi began working as a newspaper delivery boy. When delivering papers, however, he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run accident which completely damaged his shoulder. Rather than telling anyone, he kept the secret to himself and fought through the pain as he practiced as a trainee under BigHit, afraid that if he told them that he would lose his career with them. To this day, Yoongi does not have full motion in that shoulder and he no longer is able to b-boy (special type of freestyle dance) because of it. As a result, Yoongi began developing mental health concerns. He developed severe depression and social anxiety which still affects him to this day. In his song “The Last” in his Agust D album, he talks about his mental disorders which were severe enough to lead him to see a psychiatrist, and implied in the same song that he has thought about suicide (the beeping noise right before it turns to him rapping about how he’s okay now). During the HYYH era, Yoongi’s social anxiety got to him, and BTS was forced to cancel a concert because Yoongi was unable to perform. Two days later, he posted a long and emotional self-reflection about himself (transcript link below): 160110 Suga’s Tweets Today, Yoongi is a rapper, a Korean Copyright Music Association recognized producer, one of the most outspoken Korean idols about LGBT rights and mental illness, two extremely taboo topics in South Korea, and of course, one of the seven members in BTS, arguably the world’s biggest boy band at the moment. All of his lyrics are extremely reflective of himself and society, and he isn’t afraid to talk about society-consciousness issues. He has extremely thought-provoking lyrics and quotes which continue to prove the beauty Yoongi brings to the world. Furthermore, Yoongi continues to inspire people all around the world, and continues turning people’s lives around, especially those who are also fighting depression and mental illness. Min Yoongi continues to be one of the most respected members in this community and is one of my biggest role models. I fucking love Yoongi, people say he's always quiet and moody. Then he bursts into tears at award shows and I die. I love him so much. Also Namjoon you're pretty fucking perfect too

These two are the epic mix of partnership and friendship. I've always seen their dynamic as one out of deep respect, loyalty, trust, and admiration. Both of them were raised in a family who didn't want them to pursue music. RM being from a more wealthy family was expected to do something in business like his father and Suga was from a poor family who hated his dream. RM and Suga also gave up similar sacrifices. RM having to take the responsibilities and burden of being the leader. He has to be the voice of the group and I am sure he does not always want to do this. He also sacrificed the dream of a hip-hop group to a more pop group in the very early stages of BTS. Suga takes the same responsibilities and burden as RM but in a different way. He produces a lot of their songs and made himself learn to dance during the early stages of BTS despite being promised he didn't have to. They also have similar rapping style which I am sure they look at each other for inspiration. I feel like these two carry BTS in very similiar ways. RM in the song lyrics and public life. Suga in the studio and behind the scene kind of way. They see each other as partners and treat each other with such humility it's so touching. They have different styles of how to interact with fans and the other members of BTS. RM is more warm, outgoing, patient, and intellectual but can be serious when he's on his Leader role. He encourages his members to embrace their personalities and charms for the fans. Suga is more serious, stand-off ish at times but observant, philosophical but can be bubbly when his members hype him up. Suga is seen to give very wise comforting words when it matters most for his members and pushes them to perfect their art. When dealing with fans and the public, they're professional and help each other through it. I know there was a video of a person asking if they plagiarized WINGS and knowing RM was trying to think of what to say, Suga stepped in gracefully and RM was clearly grateful. I think RM is uncomfortable trying to answer people being rude because he doesn't like conflict but Suga's actually very good at it. I think this is just a taste of how much they lean on each other, push each other, and look out for each other. They literally go through the bullshit of what people say about BTS together with equal professionalism. They have similar struggles too. RM spoke about struggled with loving himself and trying to live up to the expectations of others. Suga spoke about his struggle with depression and social anxiety. I think Suga is probably most open with RM than the other members of the group. Both are equally passionate, loyal, proud, and dedicated to BTS and share the same sort of love for their fans. They're literally the artistic backbone of BTS and literally made BTS. Without both of them, BTS won't be as successful as they are now. Because of all the above stuff, they really see each other as equals while the other members look up to them. WOW this long ass rant. But this my way of saying they're legit bros and partners in life.

To be honest, these two are my favorite friendship out of all members. They’re all precious to me but I feel like Yoongi and Namjoon share a special bond, based on professional respect, hardcore friendship and brotherly interactions both during hard times and success. I recently watched a video on Jin/V’s serious fighting right before a concert. After watching the video, I wrote that RM and Suga are the two pillars of the group’s dynamic. To me, the main reason the band is what is it is now is because Namjoon and Yoongi have complemented each other in their respective roles and kept the group’s thread on both ends for so long. Another thing I love about them is, though very scarce, their interaction on-camera is genuine, controlled but sincere. There are lots of glances of understanding and many times where Namjoon agrees with Yoongi wise words, always adding something smart and deep as well. Someone in this chat said that they are the artistic backbone of BTS and I cannot agree more. I love how nowadays, with the group’s success, both RM and Suga focus on developing the other members’ artistic personalities, writing and working on solos for them. RM said once that the most influental one in the group is Suga. As the official leader of the group and the public face of BTS, I’m glad he has Yoongi off-screen to share his burden. I fully support their wonderful friendship and work together. Thank you both so much 💜

Bromance! I love these two musical geniuses. All I know by following this group since 2016, is that the love between Jin and Rm is much different than the love between Suga and RM, its more like a brotherhood, professional and endearing. The relationSHIP between Jin and RM is mostly a "conservative and mature, intimate relationship with a child involved; Kim Taehyung also known as "V", as you all know Taehyung is one of the younger members of three, however, it is well known to the ARMY that Taehyung is RM baby boi, RM deeply loves Tae and has stated that he will always feel responsible for him and loves him deeply, I think its because of the three younger members, Tae was the youngest member for sometime before Jk and finally Jimin, so RM being older he felt a great sense of responsibility, kinda like a big brother to take care of him, when Tae became a new member of BTS he was a young teenager away from his hometown in South Korea and grandparents who were raising him at the time. BTS in its self is a beautiful story, not about 7 group members but about a loving family of 7 boys now men.
