Saying someone is not naturally talented is not necessarily an insult. It's simply stating that he had to work harder in his career. There are people who are naturally talented in that they are born for or with certain things or abilities. I’m sure you might know someone for instance, who was just born to paint and it comes so easy for them, but then there is someone else who loves to paint but has to practice more to perfect his art. He said Jimin wasn’t a singer when he joined them, he was naturally talented in dancing which he always excelled at and he had to learn to sing and be great at it like he is right now. I think he just remembered something about Jungkook and that is why he said his name and commented how good he was. I’m sure there could have been instances where you were talking about someone and then someone else crosses your mind and you mention them in the same conversation, I think that’s what happened. I believe all BTS have respect for each other, they may fight and seem distant but they have learnt to live with each other lovingly, that’s what I believe. Sorry for the long monologue ;)

@@swahilibangtan exactly! I don't understand how some people watched that video and thought that Suga was shading Jimin. It was the highest compliment! Jimin only started singing after joining BTS and even then he didn't get vocal lessons like JK, Jin and V. He literally had to learn from scratch to get to where he is now while the other vocal line had previous experience singing so they were ahead of him skill wise. Suga was praising Jimin for how hard he had to work to even be recognized as a lead singer in the group! We all know someone/people just do things well naturally. Think of guys in school who would just get good marks whether they study or not while others had to put a little more effort to be at the same level. There's nothing shameful about having to work hard to succeed. Every member of the team has always said Jimin works hard at everything, even dancing which he's naturally good at, because that's his nature. There's one Run BTs episode I always remember where RM commented that Jimin has a very high emotional resilience and another BTS Festa where JK said Jimin is good at focusing on one thing. They've even said several times that Jimin obsessively practices the choreography despite him and Hobi being the ones who master the choreography quickly. It's his nature. We all succeed in different ways and what Suga said was nothing but praise and admiration. You could even see in his face how proud he was that Jimin put in the effort he needed to get to a place where he could sing confidently with an OG idol he has admired since he was kid. That type of grit and discipline that Jimin has are very rare attributes that most people lack. Comprehension is kicking people in the ass out here.
