He is the reason why I got courage to tell my parents what I wanted to become...I thought like yoongi's parents they won't support my dream too,but yeah they did If yoongi didn't gave me courage I would feel guilt my whole life...he is my inspiration...

As SUGA has said he's read psychology and philosophy books (like the idea of taking your hands off of what you can't control, and putting them on what you can change, as he talked about in his Class of 2020 speech, is a fundamental principle of ancient Stoic philosophy), at 3:25 I think he's not talking about his physical shadow, per se, but "the shadow self" in psychology. Everyone has a shadow self, and like a physical shadow, it's always there and you can't get rid of it. It is made up of the parts of ourselves that we've repressed. Usually it's things people often consider "bad" like anger or jealousy, or resentment or laziness, but it can also be things like boundaries, creativity, confidence, or emotional sensitivity, if we were taught by parents or caregivers or even our peers that these traits or feelings were bad to have, or that we should not feel them for some reason. Recognizing your shadow self, you can face it and learn about it and learn from it, and accept and learn to love your whole self, including your shadow side which exists, repressed in us all. In Interlude: Shadow, SUGA specifically talks about what he outwardly wants, and then what he's inwardly afraid of, like his conscious mind and his shadow self are having a duel. It's such a great song.💜 Here's a good psychology page I found on the shadow self, if anyone is interested to explore more about yours. Learning about my shadow and the parts of myself I've repressed (in my case even positive things, like boundaries, creativity, and courage) has really helped me know, understand, love, and accept myself a lot more.💜 www.harleytherapy.co.uk/counselling/shadow-self.htm

can i ask one thing, can i take all these words of inspiration as if he is telling me. i know i wasnt an army from early but it is helping me a lot so im asking for that. im in the stage that i cant say how many problems i have so i need it the most. BTS & ARMY forever.

He said this to ARMYS. So as long as you love all the members, you enjoy their music, you accept them as a human being and not just some objects for your personal use, you are considered as an army. Who cares for how many years you’ve been stanning them or how many iconic lines you know of bts. These quotes are what he said to army, to anyone who would listen to him. So take it as inspiration. It is normal 💜💜💜
