Ingredients for sugar pretzels: 700 g sifted fine flour
155 g granulated sugar
150 g pork fat
120 g of 20% sour cream
15 g sifted baking powder
40 ml of lemon juice
Grated rind of 1 lemon
8 g vanilla sugar (1 small packet)
3 whole eggs
2 pinches of salt
Sprinkle cakes: 100 g ground walnuts
70 g granulated sugar
To coat the cakes: 1 small egg
The cakes were baked in a 180°C oven in bottom-top baking mode. Baking time between 18 and 20 minutes. The dough can be prepared several days in advance, kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator until the right time, and can be used in the kitchen while still warm!
