Ray Charles Leonard (born May 17, 1956), best known as "Sugar" Ray Leonard, is an American former professional boxer, motivational speaker, and occasional actor. Often regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time, he competed from 1977 to 1997, winning world titles in five weight divisions; the lineal championship in three weight divisions; as well as the undisputed welterweight title. Leonard was part of "The Fabulous Four", a group of boxers who all fought each other throughout the 1980s, consisting of Leonard, Roberto Durán, Thomas Hearns, and Marvin Hagler.

He had beautiful technique and could do it all in the ring. And when he needed it he could be hurtful plus he had the heart of a champion. A true ATG.

He was a boxer with incredible hand speed but he wasn't one dimensional. He could punch when he had to. A lot of fighters are either punchers or boxers. He could do it all.

Leonard was the only one of the big five during the 80's to defeat the other four greats Hearns, Hagler, Duran and Benitez. A great athlete who was also very intelligent. He could adapt to his opponents style and make adjustments during the fight and very tough too.

ecw787 that fight was draw. Hagler was in his face all night and hitting him too. Leonard didn’t really take his belt from him. That 118-110 judge gave it to him.
