Hi Cheryl! I have seen the Rene of Paris "flat iron" but have not tried it yet. I agree, it looks more like a hot comb to me. I know that it should only be used for wigs from the Aderans collections. I might give it a try in the future but I like using the plastic hot air brush I have. Let me know what you think if you decide to try it!💖

Thanks so much, Liz!😀 I'm surprised by how comfortable I feel wearing this blonde style. You know, I have never worn a wig or a topper in a jacuzzi or a swimming pool. Although I don't think the steam would damage them (after all, we style with steam), I just prefer to wear a baseball cap when I'm near water. I'm sure you could wear a piece in a jacuzzi. I imagine you would need to wash it afterward. Good luck!👍💖

@@micheleswigreviews Thank you Michele. You're right, if I am careful not to immerse any part of the wig, it will likely be fine. Most hot tubs/jacuzzis don't get any hotter than 102F, which is not boiling. As for blondes, I have some of the ashier ones, like Palm Springs and Venice blondes and they work surprisingly well. I still prefer my hair to be dark though, more recognizable as myself, LOL. 😎😍
