Heading in my first ever Vande Bharat Express to Bengaluru from Mysuru to explore legendary Bangalore food places in this video #vandebharatexpress #bangalorefood
The vande bharat express i took was from mysore to bangalore and i booked it on irctc.co.in. I travelled in Executive class and the ticket cost me approx Rs.1226 including meals. You can select from Veg and Non veg food options and the journey was under to hours and very comfortable. This train actually goes from Mysore to Chennai.
Talking about the reason i visited Bangalore, the legendary food places serving the best idlis, dosas and more. So here are all the places i visited:

this brought back memories of my trip to Bangalore.. Rameshwaram Cafe was excellent. The crowd there was unreal and we actually had to cancel our plan first time we went because of the enormous rush.. Their Ghee pudi idli is the best idli I have ever had... I just hope I get a chance to visit Bangalore again which has my heart!

In Karnataka, we make dosa brown in color by adding poha to the legumes while soaking it. The batter then has the poha bit which turns brown. This is why many of us refuse to eat the yellow stuff they call dosai in another not-to-be-named Indian state. 🙂

The structure on top of the hill in Lalbagh which you mentioned as temple is not a temple it is one of the 4 Towers built by the founder Sir KempeGowda ( founder of Bangalore) It was told that the city of bangalore should not exceed this perimeter of within the 4 towers But it is just gone haywire. (Approx 14 Sq km) Your pronunciation is very local. Kudos on your effort. 💫

In Lalbagh, it's kempegowda tower, not temple on the rock outcrop. The tower was established by Kempegowda to mark the boundary of Bengaluru. Bengaluru has 4 towers.

Wonderful vlog. The way you have covered each section of your video with crisp and needed information, the camera angles and the places. Also you did not hesitate to say about the paneer gravy and paratha on Vande Bharat train were not good and need improvement. Vande Bharat express looks so classy and clean. Those food items at Bramhins are legendary and super delicious 😋. I visit Bramhins 3-4 times a year even though stay at Whitefield which is around 30km from there.Overall vlog 9.5/10😊😊❤❤

Nice dosa and coffee combo mostly all over Bangalore. Vande Bharat express coaches are well decorated but food is not wow catagory. Even many travelers are experiencing same like you. We should eat for tummy filling not for taste. Nice presentation. All the best

You’ve definitely covered the must visit places in Namma Bengaluru. Your 1st pronunciation of Cubbon Park was correct. It has a history from the British Era & was initially named after John Meade who was then the acting commissioner of Mysore State. Later it was renamed after the longest serving commissioner Mark Cubbon. Sunday’s at Cubbon Park for pet / dog lovers are special as there is a dog park where people are allowed to get their pet dogs. You’ll get to see many of them.

Mysuru to Bengaluru via new highway is only 2 hours not 4 to 5 hours..... Secondly, i felt Vande Bharat in Karnataka is not promoting the local brands for Ex - Havmor is not a south indian brand, Cavin is a brand from Tamilnadu not Karnataka 170 INR for a plain dose is costlier than MTR...slightly overhyped.. Kesaribath in MTR is different from other places and must try - due to addition of semiya with rava in preparation For authentic Dumrot - MTR is not the right place, there is a place called Sri Venkateshwara Sweets and Gundappa Sweets or Sri Ram Vilas Sweets in old pete areas of city where Dumrot tastes yum....

I have literally lived a min away from Brahmin's and Vidyarthi Bhavan and have never visited! :( Somethings young age does to you. Hopefully, shall make it up. Lavelle Road I been many times to the iconic Rice Bowl, Near Rama Hotel. All this story exactly 20 years back!!

Adding poha to batter with other ingredients while grinding it makes dosa red in color And adding some sugar to the batter will give it that caramel aroma and crispiness.

Your visit to Restaurants are also too good to see the dishes what you ate, but I find few restaurants serving Suji Upma/Kitchadi n all. Are they use more of Semolin/Bombay Rava... Anyway everything is very interesting to watch. When I was in bangalore, very recently 5months bk, I couldn't visit.

Meanwhile we mysoreans travel from Mysore to Bangalore in premium government run A/C bus at less than 400rs at it takes about 1.5hrs to reach Bangalore

A/C Bus to mysore cost Rs 260- 320 max . vande bharat Modi train cost 600 - Rs 1200 ?! Making train costlier than Bus. Its ridiculous. Trains are meant to be cheaper as it runs on power not costly diesel.

Very neatly done as usual! 🎉👍🏻 Couple of points... Rameshwaram cafe is very recent outlet & is based on the typical Bangalore self service QSRs which were invented for South Indian food in the 80s. These are supposed to hygienic, fast & very cheap on the wallet but also give great quality. There are now thousands across Bangalore. Rameshwaram is neither cheap nor innovative & at 80 bucks a idly is shocking. So it's a non local fav as locals don't even know it and would be horrified. The Thatte Idlys were created probably decades ago and are available in Street corners starting at 10 bucks to 25 bucks with some butter on top. The Pudi as it's called not Podi means Powder is actually Chutney powder that comes in various flavours and granular sizes across South India. Which obviously is a great addition to anything if you want to make it spicy and yes ghee along with it is just fabulous & legendary! The Kesari bath is a variation of the well known Shira which should have orange kesari flavour but it's become a regular name for any Shira in Bangalore. It's eaten very regularly while the Dumrot, Kashi halwa or a Badam halwa are quite expensive and heavy stuff, to be had once in a while & not found commonly. The CTR dosa also has many clones in the town which you can access when CTR is bit far. Btw loved the fact you covered Airlines just because it's our fav adda in town on Saturdays. But it's a town fav for young and old alike as they come hang out, have their huge coffee, yap for hours, discuss business, etc. It's called Airlines when it began in the 60s there was a Airlines office next door there and air travel was a super cool thing those days. So airlines became a cool name in Ol' Bangs. You're actually enjoying a 200 year old British bungalow plot in that hotel with all those trees still intact.

Hi.. just want to add one info.. Its not MEDU VADA ( in tamil Nadu you will get it with onion n other extra stuff in it ) .. in karnataka we call it as UDDINA VADA , which is lot more crispier..

It's not medu Vada madam, it's uddina vade( urad dal ka fried pattice). You talk about Bangalore eateries as if you were born & brough up here & say " there's only one place.....". Well well, many many DarshiniS & restaurants serve authentic Karnataka cuisine like idli, vade, chow chow bath( combination of uppittu & keesaribath) variety doeses , variety rice baths & Bangalore's own old school filter coffee.

What are you talking about? Mysuru to Bengaluru on road ways is less than 2 hrs FOR SURE! I don't think you've traveled recently by roadways. It is even faster than train.
