In the 13:30 the correct value of y4 is 3, thank you for the great class.

Yes, it is. Apologies for the mistake and thank you for pointing it out! The correct value for y4 is 3 and the defuzzified value y* = 2.03

ma'am,which operator is used in takagi and sugeno approach..or (or) and??
@Topperly
@Topperly 3 жыл бұрын
Both (OR) and (AND) operator is used. If (OR) operator is used, take the maximum of the membership values of the two inputs and if (AND) operator is used, the minimum of the membership values of the two inputs should be considered. :)

@@Topperly I've seen on the Mathworks website that the Sugeno method always uses prod for implication and sum for aggregation. For example, where did we perform the implication and aggregation process in the example in the 7th minute? Thanks.

What is advantage of Madani over Sugeno? Because it is difficult to obtain functions in Sugeno for me? So how I can validate that Madani is better than sugeno

There's no apparent advantage of Mamdani over Sugeno. We use each method considering the application in hand and which suits the application better :)

How do you find the function for y= f(x1, x2) for Sugeno Systems? For example why did you use 'y1 = (-x1) + x2 +1', Where does this come from? Please help :). And thank you for the amazing videos.
@Topperly

Incase of Sugeno systems, the equation will be given with the questions. Here the consequent is expressed in form of f(x,y), so the functions for each rule will be specified within the question. Generally for any Sugeno system, the equations are developed with the help of an expert who has years of experience in the system we are modeling. But with reference to the problems based on Sugeno, the functions will be provided along with the question. :)

Is it not a necessity that the total of all the membership values equals to 1 at any given point?

Hi Raihan, No... Membership values are not like probabilities :)

what are the r1 and r2?
@Topperly
@Topperly 2 жыл бұрын
r1 and r2 are constants. For instance, if you watch the example from 05:48, r in the Rule 1 is 1, r in the rules 2 is 3 and so on :)
