Probably because people got turned away thinking it's just a regular historical anime. That and probably the CGI. It's a shame too since this is such a great anime

It’s not a comedy though. It has comedic moments sure. But, it’s more drama. It’s good that it has light hearted moments. This anime can get pretty heavy.

@@darknightkaguya6532 not really a spoiler. I hadn't read Golden Kamuy and had watched this clip outta curiosity, liked it then went on to read Golden Kamuy. Literally without context this vid tells you nothing other than show you who's traveling with Sugimoto.

@@alize9111 this. The scanlation team was superb. In japanese, they mispelled the kanji, even though it is still can be read as Fujimi, the meaning is Hemorrhoid instead of immortal. I honestly like them both
