This song is about Jamie's mother, who wanted to die but couldn't kill herself, so she went around truck stops and gas stations at night asking strangers to kill her.

A really anxious song, I loved listening to it (and other Xiu Xiu hits) on repeat during the winter months of my junior year in high school. I was really falling for this girl, but just couldn't muster up the strength to bear my feelings to her. The sax is a really good touch; putting a warm and strong tone in such a cold and delicate song.

@Kra7as The band is named after a banned Chinese movie, nothing Chinese about the band (at the time of this song/album, they have a Chinese-American member as of this post I believe) or the song.
