I'm not sure about the meaning, but the first muslim to become a shahidah, was Suhmayah bint Khattab, who was persecuted and murdered by Abu Jahl

If one of our British Values is we should be tolerant to those of different beliefs then if you believe we shouldn't be tolerant to those of different beliefs will that be tolerated?
@sarahlouiseb5177
@sarahlouiseb5177 3 жыл бұрын
Isn't that the oxymoron of truly tolerant societies? For society to be truly tolerant, it must be intolerant of intolerance. But, remembering there's a subtle difference between being intolerant of the belief, and actions, versus being intolerant of the person holding those beliefs or perpetrating the actions... (It's a difficult one to master, and I think it requires more empathy and less penalisation than our current culture models. Just my thoughts.)

@@sarahlouiseb5177 Look what tolerance of other cultures has delivered to the UK. A divided country in chaos. Multiculturalism has been a disaster. There is no way it could ever have worked. It was deliberate sabotage.

@@JohnSmith-su3ze Surely inequality/poverty/etc directly causes more division and tension between people than people's cultures? The divisions caused by multiculturalism seem to be indirect, because of people's intolerance, unlike in the case of poverty. (But pitting oppressed people against each other has proven an effective diversion tactic in keeping those exploiting us in power... It worked for the Nazis, too.)

I love how people bang on about us Brita abolished slavery. We invented it for God's sake, the people who benefited from it benefit from it now and look down on the ones that were slaves in mines. Besides it never ended. We have zero hours contracts, everything's more expensive. Look at traffic. An overpopulated slum. Britain's shall never be slaves? Really. We are slaves to finance

Slavery was an islamic and jew (talmudic - therefore Babylonian cognates) business. Britain bought slaves from them in West Africa. Those slaves were known as "domestic slaves". Of that trade 10% entered the West (5% The US - 3% Brazil and 2% divided among the rest). Of the 90% of slaves taken into Dhar al-Islam nothing is known: their legacy is a mystery, largely because they were put to death and buried/burned when their usefulness served it's purpose. Those who entered the West on the other hand fared a lot better. Emancipated by Christians such as Cassius Clay they went on to form generations that became Doctors, Lawyers, Businessmen and etc: even a President of the Greatest World power of its time (M'Obama - a typical greedy black who ignores History for their own divisive purpose). Your ignorance is dangerous. It is dangerous to black people ("raisin heads" as muhammad referred to them), and it is dangerous to white people, whom were also enslaved by Arabs, taken from areas like the Balkans, Spain, etc, and off coastlines such as Ireland, Iceland and Britain. Why do you think there are so many red and blonde haired Arabs? You don't think, seems to be your issue. www.raceandhistory.com/historicalviews/2252001.htm

@@strongangel Thank you for sharing that info, I was really shocked and fascinated to read it. No need for the insult at the end, though. All of us are ignorant about some things - none of us can be experts in, or have experience of, everything. Sharing knowledge is a gift and we really do learn from each other. Let's celebrate that rather than denigrate people for what they don't know. P.S. I want to look into what you've said and will fact-check as much as I can when I have time. Do you have any links or references you would recommend? Thanks

@@sarahlouiseb5177 Noting I wrote said NOTHING insulting, and that I left at least one useful link at the end of the comment, all I will add is IF you really want to look into what I wrote then it is not so difficult. As for "Fact Checking", I am a pre-millennial, meaning I hail from a day when FACTS were normal and deceit and or disinformation were not. If I write something I have already FACT CHECKED what I am writing about myself - I never comment in ignorance. Sharing knowledge is NOT a gift, it is simply being honest about what you have learnt. I am probably at least two, maybe three times your age. My reputation where making comment is concerned is in good standing. As an example I know more about islam (expert level) than the great majority of moslems; it is pointless having a conversation about islam with the great majority of moslems because they have no understanding of (it) other than what islamic leaders tell them, which, frankly, is very little. Likewise it would be silly to provide yo with an encyclopedia of references as you asked. It has taken me over 60 years (in this lifetime) for me to form my understanding of the world: as I stated, if I write (it) I am satisfied that is the de-facto case given. Thank You for your inquiry.

@@strongangel Thank you for replying so promptly. I hadn't seen the link when I first read your comment, I will follow it. I'm flattered but I think you're massively underestimating my age if you think you could be 2-3 times my age!!! I stand by my point that knowledge is a gift we share. Humans didn't begin with the language, maths, science, etc skills that we share now; they have been accumulated over generations, and even now our knowledge is being expanded and misunderstandings are being uncovered. For example, in Physics, Einstein gave us so much information, but was incorrect in some of his theories about time. Furthermore, it is only in recent years that quantum physics and standard physics are beginning to be reconciled, but we still do not have the theories that truly unite them. There is so much knowledge within the breadth of humanity, no human could ever know it all, so being ignorant should not be something to shame people for. The part of your comment that seems an insult is the last part - "You don't think, seems to be your issue". Just because someone hasn't come across, or studied, the same information as you during their lifetime is not an implication that they don't think. That's just a way of shaming people for their ignorance. I appreciate that you may only share information that is reliable, but I could not say the same for myself if I did not check the reliability of comments I read on KZfaq.

Conquest poetry. Her words and sentiment are absolutely right. Britain no longer belongs to its indigenous people. White Britons are already a minority in London, soon to be sidelined all together nationwide. I admire her triumphalism! It must be exhilarating to take over a host country so quickly, declare it publicly and be met with rapturous applause. Well done that lady!

Britain hasn't belonged to its "indigenous people" since the Romans drove the Celts to the edges - Wales, Cornwall, Scotland and Ireland. Britain has also been invaded by Angles (hence 'England' from 'Angle land'), Saxons, and Normans, who together comprise the ancestry of the people whom I believe you are referring to as 'White indigenous Brits'. So what is it that makes one more legitimate than the other - length of time since it happened, or colour of the people's skin?
