To be honest i'm sure Akira was going to beat up Futaba's uncle like he did with Shido, but he dodged at the last second to not get in trouble like last time. Heck, he even follows him for a bit after he leaves before Sojiro complains about the situation. If it weren't for his situation i'm pretty sure Akira would have no problem beating up people.

Jokers may not exactly be as brave but I still would label it as bad ass since I doubt your average guy could pull off a trip like that and ensure they avoid any punishment. Yu is a shield more than anything else... Guess he just isn't the violent type.

Well, Minato is the shortest of all the male Persona protagonists, but don't be fooled by that. He's quite athletic and definitely can pack quite a punch when he didn't hesitate to beat up the punks harassing Yukari. I guess fighting Shadows taught him excellent martial arts techniques.

Fun Fact: Minato is the only Persona Protag capable of wielding more than one kind of melee weapon, including fist weapons like Akihiko. So it only makes sense he'd be the most capable combatant out of the protags, and the most willing to use force.

When you think about it, makes sense how these 3 reacts to this sort of stuff. Minato got nothing to lose, so makes sense why he thrown hands easily. Yu seems passive, but the reason he doesn't really resort to violence is probably because he lives with Dojima, so it would be bad if he got arrested for fighting especially if he tries to capture a serial killer. And Ren already got a criminal record on him, so it would be bad for him get in a fight again. Also Ren doesn't seems afraid to get physical as shown in the beginning which got him arrested

@@chibs1235 He does, he already went to the police station thanks to Yosuke and his uncle has an eye on him. Dojima is always telling him to stay out of conflicts and is suspicious of him so Yu is in the same situation than Ren, he can´t jump into fights freely. As mentioned above it would affect the investigation.

Gabriel Pereira I don't know if this is true or not, but I saw a thread on gamefaqs, I believe, and in p5 it literally hints that the majority of the p4 cast had a fallout and a majority died in a news article during the time skip to when p5 took place... Rise was hit in an auto accident, kanji committed suicide after being betrayed by his bf yosuke, yu was involved with the scandal too, yu's gf naoto was supplied with this information from rise and most likely was killed. Chie and yukiko were arrested and are standing trial.

I love how this reflect their personality and their current situation, at least this is how I interpret it: Makoto: he doesn´t gives a f. has nothing to lose in life and is small so goes for direct agression. The damage dealer. Yu: acts as a shield and will use violence just as last option, uses his big body as intimidation. He must to restrain himself, his uncle (cop) has an eye on him after the swords incident. The tank. Ren: I would say a mix of Makoto and Yu but while the last one takes the damage Ren will dodge it. Tries to not enter in direct conflict due to the probation thing. The rogue. Yes I use Atlus canon names 😂

Minatos got that just don't give a fuck, just running right in and kicking all kinds of ass badassness but Jokers got that slickness, squaring off against a dude with his hands in his pockets and tripping someone,they both got their awesomeness. As for Yu... Overprotective at least, a guardian type as seen with Nanako.
