Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming action shooter game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. The game is a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series, and is a follow-up to Batman: Arkham Knight (2015). Based on the DC Comics team Suicide Squad, the game follows four supervillains-Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark-who are assembled by Amanda Waller and sent to Metropolis to stop the alien invader Brainiac and kill the members of the Justice League brainwashed by him. The open-world design allows players, either individually or cooperatively, to freely roam Metropolis.
Kill the Justice League was announced in August 2020 and was initially scheduled to be released in 2022, but was delayed multiple times. It is currently set to release for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on February 2, 2024. The game will feature Kevin Conroy's final performance as Batman following his death on November 10, 2022.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action-adventure game set in an open world based in Metropolis. The game features four playable characters: Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. While it can be played solo, the game also features a four-player cooperative multiplayer mode. When played solo, players can switch between characters at will, while the other characters are controlled by the AI.
Each character has access to two weapon classes, some overlapping between multiple characters. Each of them also has a unique melee combat style and traversal method, such as Harley who uses a baseball bat and travels using Batman's grapple gun. A skill tree progression is included, allowing players to re-spec into different skills at any point throughout the game for different build experimentation. Post-launch content is set to be released in the form of "seasons", with frequent free content updates featuring new locations and playable characters.

Even though the game as a whole is a bit of a disappointment, I still love the characters, especially the squad. They’re all very charming, their voice actors did a great job.

A "bit" of a disappointment? Harley Quinn grabbing a guys ass, were that reversed, people would have a problem, all the male characters, heroes and villains being disrespected and insulted in one form or another, again do that to the female characters, see what happens. This game is woke garbage.

Another good thing about this game is that noticed (and maybe I’m reaching but I think it’s justified).. when Superman appeared the first and second time meeting the squad he didn’t say a word. He didn’t talk about killing them or taking them to brainiac he just fought. Every other leaguer was talking about killing the squad when they met them or taking them to brainiac. My point is that it must’ve been MUCH harder to fully control Superman than it was for every other leaguer. Superman hesitated quite a few times when he first showed up even tho he didn’t say anything but when he showed up for the boss fight Superman was really talkative. I think that shows the difference in strength and willpower between Superman and the rest of the league. They were all brainwashed but Superman was the hardest egg to crack sort of speak

DEADSHOTS facial expression in response to king shark at 3:53 HAS NEVER, NOT ONCE MADE ME NOT LAUGH OUT LOUD.... the creators of this game did a flawless job of the facial and body construction on these guys... As did they the same with the overall look of METROPOLIS. they killed it IDGAF about how the gamers feel..... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE "CUT SCENES" aka the actual movie part to the game... To me it legit plays like a full fleged motion picture. Is it OSCAR worthy? Naaa.. does it need a SSKTJL-CON every year ..naaaa.. But I...as someone who's not a gamer or fan of comic books at all...and not even really a fan of superhero movies either at that THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE CUT SCENES and I watch the full movie about 4 times a week when I get home from work.. I can't explain it but there is something calming and entertaining about the cut scenes that I can't quite put my finger on.. and at times ALL THE NEGATIVE PRESS this game has received almost makes me feel shame for enjoying the cut scenes so much... But like I said at this point I truly dgaf.. when I repeat watch the full movie/cut scenes each night I feel zero guilt 🤷🏻‍♂️

The game is called “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”, so how is Batman not supposed to be killed off? He’s gone when Brainiac took him over, Batman is all-rogue and lost his morals. Maybe Harley Quinn could’ve said something as in “Goodbye Bruce” in a softer way, but he still needs to be killed. The concept is cool, but the execution was poorly done. Besides, Batman is possibly the easiest Justice League member to kill compared to the others since he’s still human, but he’s still the dangerous man alive.

They could as well name it "suicide squad: we shat at the entire arkhamverse", it would've been exactly as fair, but it doesn't mean that we should be happy about it and yell "hooray, they did exactly what they told in the game's title, they shat at the entire arkhamverse". It's the most stupid excuse possible.

I don’t care about the Justice League dying, EVEN THOUGH, they would’ve never been defeated in anyway against the Suicide Squad, and they should’ve made their deaths better(except Wonder Woman, it was a decent at best), but what I care is what is the universe this is set on, but I hate how it’s Arkham and not a different universe.
