Oh yeah. Speedsters are some of the most consistently under-powered characters in fiction. Any given one could end the world solo, with only other Speedsters or people at Superman's level being able to stop them.

I've always thought about that...if we were to selectively apply actual real life laws of science, just specifically to mind control on Flash, would that even be possible? So assuming Flash actually has his powers and mind control is possible. The mind controller has to be in control right? But Flash's mind moves way too fast, so the way I'm thinking about it, either the mind controller would be unable to keep up unless they also had the speed force, thereby being unable to control him, or being under their control would force his mind to move as slowly as theirs. If that happened, his mind wouldn't be able to keep up with his powers, so he would be completely useless

@@isaiah9666 this is a really cool theory. Maybe, Flash isn't "mind controlled" in the traditional sense, but perhaps it's more like a parasite infecting a host, and instead of "replacing" his mind and free will, it takes his existing biology and twists it into something that suits Braniacs agenda.

I like how electricity is a part of the Flash's powers and not just a cool little effect. It's neat how he can evidently throw lighting now. And I am very excited to play as each character. I didn't know how any of them would traverse believably, but the combination of their natural talents and stolen/gifted gear is incredible. Also, after 4 solid games of melee, I'm happy the Rocksteady gave us gun toting killers to play as instead. Everyone here looks extremely lethal.

@@Yung-plague I’ve never read a flash comic. But it’s like knowing doc Ock is a spidey villain or fries is a Batman villain. I would say I have pretty base level comic book knowledge, I’ve read like 5 in my life, mostly when I was a kid I read fantastic four spidey and deadpool. But boom is one of flashes biggest villains, like cap cold, reverse flash etc. I didn’t really watch the show but it’s quite popular aswell, you’d think people are pretty uptodate on flash knowledge

lol kamehameha? that move(or something very similar) was used in the beginning of "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" when Flash disarmed the bomb, he vibrated his hand, creating a sort of "kinetic energy ball" (or maybe it was just a rasengan lol)

I find it hilarious they had to give Captain Boomerang a gun, super speed, a megaman slide, basically anything and everything EXCEPT boomerangs to make him an engaging character to play. I swear that "loser of the league" line was him projecting because in most suicide squads he's involved in he plays the drunken nobody who throws a few punchs and quips.

I love how Rocksteady always tries new things. After Asylum, they upgraded everything in City. Even in Knight they didn't just redo City,(although quite a lot hated it) they went the extra mile with the Batmobile. Now they are expanding their universe and changing their previous gameplay mechanics for Suicide Squad. I am so hyped for this new game from my favorite game developers.

Rocksteady have never let me down. I'm just hoping it's not going to force us to change characters throughout the entire thing and that we can keep playing as a specific character if we like their style more than anothers. Also, really hope it's full open world and not like The Avengers open world where you could only explore the mission area and only explore in a mission.

its confirmed you can play as any character at any time and point of the gameplay, example if ur in a boss fight you can play as boomerang and switch into king shark in the middle of it because all of the squad members is AI besides the one your playing as so u can switch in between characters. also its confirmed that the game is fully open world.

In the comics, Boomerang actually had a speedster son who took up his dad's mantle. So I think we're actually playing him in the game and his hate for Barry stems from the death of his dad or something.

This game looks like a trash. They just had a catchphrase "SS vs JL", but no idea how to make it. Like in SS they have a boomerang, a stick, a gun, and shark teeth, oh sorry, a gun too, because how useless teeth were... And in JL there are 6 guys with super strength, the smartest human on the planet, 3 or 4 of them basically indestructible, at least 2 with cosmic power, and 1 with speed than bends physics laws... How a girl with a wooden stick can beat 6-7 indestructible, super strong, super fast, cosmic level threats? They still can't release it, because every idea of that had to be extremely stupid. Injustice League, or Justice Lord's vs Justice League, would make much more sense tho. But these 4 from SS, they wouldn't even fit for ILA.

Seeing them fight side by side reminds me of the Arkham Knight duo combat takedowns. Hopefully we get some of that as well as hand to hand in this game, not just shooting

@@gsomslayer probably, I just really hate the idea of this game being purely a shooter. Taking characters like King Shark and Captain Boomerang and putting guns in their hands just sounds like a horrible idea gameplay wise, a superhero game needs to have a melee combat system.

1:04 is the moment where Flash is already behind Deadshot and if you listen closely, that is when Deadshot shoots at Flash lol. Some crazy thought has gone behind this one.

Nah it was just the echo from the shot... when Deadshot took the shot is exactly when Flash started running, look at the crosshairs when he was aiming at Flash, it went up then down exactly when he fired the shot which Flash immediately dodged and ran up behind him..

I think making captain boomerang have teleportation and stuff makes him a much more of a threat to the flash. Usually it's just stupid seeing the flash loose to a guy who throws weaponized sticks but now the fight seems more even.
