As brilliant as Mike is, his emotions or his history of panicking always take the better of him. Be it Trevor, Jessica's threat in the Hesington Case, Walter Gillis or not trusting the jury in his Lawyer or not case.

Throughout the series, Mike’s biggest problem is his inability to separate his emotions. He thinks he can save everyone from everything. That’s not how the real world works.

In season 9 Mike destroys Harvey, and Harvey only manages to win as one of his partners does something illegal without his knowledge. So pretty much a repeat of this fight:p

This scene where Mike asks Harvey to settle , later in season 7, Mike does same with Oliver, except Mike kept the fight going with Harvey, Oliver's ended there.
