As much as we despise Louis, we have to respect that his character has by far the most growth and perhaps most depth. He's hated, but he loves the company, and does these things that cause him to be even more hated, because he loves the company so much. Harvey, Jessica, Mike, Donna, they are family to him, and he will go to whatever lengths (including being hated by them) to ensure nothing happens to them.

I still can’t believe they didn’t talk about Harvey past until season 5 but I do get that Mike was like the main point of the show for the first couple seasons
