When Hürrem takes Nigar back in the palacei Sultana Hatice can't accept it and wants to kick Nigar out of the palace. Mustafa learns this and decides to kick Nigar out of the palace. Hürrem stands up against all of them alone. She makes a clever plan to keep her in the palace.
Meanwhile, Süleyman comes together with İbrahim in Tabriz. They confront about reasons İbrahim uses "Sultan Seraskier" as his title and his infidelty to Hatice. After their confrontation, the army marches forward to Baghdad. During this journey, İbrahim sets a trap to be able to get rid of his mortal enemy İskender and provides to be suspended from his duty. Even if İbrahim gets what he wants, this is turning point for Suleiman.
Meanwhile in harem, Suleiman's affectuous letter for Firuze arrives in the palace. Sultana Hatice provides that Hürrem receive the letter. Sultana Hürrem reads the letter and realizes that the odalisque she has killed isn't the woman she has been looking for. She starts seeking for Firuze. In the mean time, Firuze takes care of Prince Cihangir and lives right beside Hürrem. Gülşah realizes that Firuze is the woman they've been looking for.
Will Sultana Hürrem be able to catch Firuze? Will Sultana Hatice be able to kick Nigar out of the palace? Will the ice between Sultan Suleiman and İbrahim be broken? Will İskender Çelebi be able to continue to stand up against İbrahim Pasha?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

True history suggests they slept together sexually before he fell for Hurrem. Ibrahim and Hurrem, the sultans two slaves. It was an interesting thing to learn and helped explain why he forgave him so often. Turkish history had a third gender role for boys going through puberty before growing facial hair, so it wasn't uncommon for homosexual relationships to occur back in ancient Turkey.

@@joansutton Yeah. She tried to warn Sulaiman, like you said. Unfortunately, Sulaiman was so hung up on his gratitude to Ibrahim Pasha for saving his life when they were young that he was willing to overlook an awful lot. This was partially why Ibrahim, in the series version, was able to dare speak to Hurrem the way he did even after she became Sulaiman's wedded wife.

I don't agree with that. Nobody, not even Hurrem, could have come in between them if ibrahim had behaved properly. Ibrahim dug his own grave by how he behaved, it wasn't hurrem who defeated him.

And who would warn Syleiman himself? Because he crossed the line and forgot that except a Sultan, he was a mortal man and he wasn't the God. There was a God bigger than himself. So he shouldn't be God, because this called arrogance and arrogance leads to transform to a deaf man and after this madness is not far from this situation. Then, comes the crazyness. He killed his friend, he killed his sister Hatice, then he killed his sons and many members of his family. Where was his conscience and justice? Didn't Syleiman perish himself in a hole of mud? He had already gone swalloded by this hole and he didn't know about this. Syleiman wasn't a judge, he judges all the others around himself and he never blames himself for nothing. He killed Iskender, however he finds it better to blame Ibrahim for his death. Iskender was the traitor, no matter what Syleiman, Hurrem, Rustem or Syleiman was saying about this, in order to prove the vice versa and blame Ibrahim for this death. Iskender signed his death with treason against Ibrahim and Syleiman, so his fate was singed by himself. Not blame Ibrahim.

Alright, we as an audience all know that just as Ibrahim is guilty for his crimes, Iskender was guilty for his. He tried to foil the Empire's plans and waste valuable men just to ruin Ibrahim's reputation. The Ottoman Empire is better without men like that. And Suleiman's dream wasn't truthful, it was merely what he felt, especially after Rüstem's little cry act.

Hurrem had been Valide Sultana no matter what. She didn't need of talking that she was Valide. She became Valide. But Mahidevran after Valide's death (Syleiman's mother), said that if Syleiman dies, then all the situation changes. She would be Valide Sultana to her son Prince Mustafa, because Mustafa would be the Sultan of the world and Hurrem's children would be dead (maybe Mehmet would be alive, all the others would be dead, Hurrem as well). This would be the situation. That's why Mahidevran called herself Valide Sultana. But things didn't go this way. However, these would happen, if Syleiman had died. And I don't know if Mahidevran would be Valide Sultana, but her son Mustafa would take the throne. But unfortunately his father lived, in order to see his sons and family been killed by himself. He killed them in so cowardly way. A good king, with even a shine of conscience, he should take care of these atrociousness (if he wanted it so much to do these) and immediately goes and punishes personally, with his bare hands his possible enemies, even if he is his son and friend and also his family. Syleiman was a coward and that's why God gave him pains and suffering from a very little age (from the age of 50) and through this suffering his death came to him.

The problem here is that Mahidevran CAN will be probably next Valide because if Mustafa become next Padişah she will be next Valide but Ibrahim don't have ANY things that can change his situation. Even if they were slave every mother of one Şehzade can think to be next Valide, in this case not just Hürrem Sultan. Even Tuhran was slave of Ibrahim's slave but after became Valide Sultan

Suleman should not have let Ibrahim get so bad. He should have stopped him long before. I’m glad Ibrahim was killed. He deserved it. It’s just a shame that they tried to make his death a sad tragedy like he was a decent person trying his best in a difficult. He wasn’t. He was a snake, drunk on power and trying to even overtake the Sultan himself. He was cruel and vicious and black at heart He cheated on Hatice, poor girl. He had his end coming for a long time. Imho

theres only one level and that is accepting the Blood of Jesus Christ dieing a death unforseen to forgive us of sins. It is sin that deteriates our lives. The Blood cleanses us and takes it away. We begin a new transformed life living on the word of God from thence forth.
