Ottoman Empire is preparing for a campaign through the heart of Europe. İbrahim gets rewarded by Suleiman with Seraskerat rank. İbrahim is aware that this rank gets him pne step closer to death. Meanwhile, Suleiman has other plans for İbrahim in his mind.
Bali Bey, carries out an investigation about Sultana Hürrem's slained horse. As the interrogation goes forward, he gets strange results about the dead horse.
Hürrem gets her odalisques back who were taken away from her by Sultana's order. Sultana will respond to that move in a terrifying way.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Suleyman truly sent Ibrahim to his early grave with this edict, even if he think it's the best decision for the Empire and Ibrahim. Not 1 man except saints and prophets wont grow arrogant from all this authority.

You're right , I always thought that when ibrahim asked him not to raise his power anymore it wasn't just fear of enemies but himself too

@@konozmohamed8180 Suleyman must be so elated when he write this edict. Like "my sworn brother finally get the authority he deserved, he must be very happy".

@@konozmohamed8180I agree 100% that Ibrahim was arrogant and the statements he made ,he deserved punishment for that. But the only reason I can't really hate him ever is he refused to take power so many times. He kept saying it again and again that it'll bring his death. He even gave up all his power more than once. Never played any games to gain power, never asked for it , never wanted anyone's help such as sultanas or princesses like other pashas. Everything he gained he gained on his own and didn't even want it. Then the things went wrong and he became the worst victim of it. I mean it was like his way of saying that " Don't do this to me . I might make mistake . Things will go wrong. You better not blame me then . I'm telling you. " And then everything he was afraid of happened. At least he was honest with himself. How many people would be like this ? Very few i think. Most of them would celebrate after getting powerful and become careless and over confident immediately. People suffer from deaths , betrayals, fears , sadness. My man suffered from success 🤣🤡

@@saaymaaroshni6324 you explained his complex character perfectly! +The fact that he was the only pasha that didn't need a sultana's makes me like him even more . The powerful women in the show were amazing mind you , but he was from the rare actually powerful and honorable men even if he had his mistakes.

@@konozmohamed8180everyone makes mistakes. EVERYONE. Even Suleiman the one they call MAGNIFICENT successfully murdered two of his most capable sons who could rule the empire much better than Selim. And one of the BIGGEST responsibilities of a ruler is to ensure a proper successor for the empire after his death. That actually says a lot about how smart and good a ruler was . In that case Selim 1 was way better than suleiman bcz he prepared suleiman to take the throne and made everything easier for the upcoming future. In this case I've always felt Selim 1 thought about the good for the empire for a long run , even after his death. While suleiman simply wanted to be the best ruler during his reign and cared about the empire only when he was in power. Not for the future. When Ibrahim was executed it felt like justice at some point but after watching how other pashas were, my mind changed, most of them were power Hungry , used Suleiman for their own benefits, some were violent, abusive, liars , did many crimes, showed absolute favouritism. Then I realised killing Ibrahim was a mistake bcz everyone is like this and he was much better than all of them in comparison. Ibrahim at least loved suleiman and truly cared for him. To me an arrogant person is less worse than a jealous,paranoid and cold blooded psychopath who murders his whole family and doesn't regret. Ibrahim's mistake was nothing compared to theirs and Suleiman's. But Suleiman ain't guilty bcz he is the sultan.
