His little face did not "light up" calm down. Ducks and Geese don't have these distinguishing features to where you can tell if they "lit up" when they saw a person. I think you may be surprised th know that so many people have felt that way when we were younger and it all changes quite fast as we get older providing we stay away from alcohol n things that create confusion. There is also good help out there , you can look into because when we feel that way , it helps a great deal to talk to a counselor because they can help us navigate through what were going through. As a teen way back when a therapist suggested I start journaling n write my thoughts each day. I thought it was silly at 1st but it helped me get stuff out of my system n I do it to this day. It will get better. Never give up and it strong to get help not weak.
