Sulphonilamide Disaster: The Rise and Fall of Sulfanilamide

A terrible nationwide poisoning event occurred in 1937 when a batch of medicine was unintentionally made containing toxic ingredients. Now referred to as the Sulfanilamide Disaster, the 1937 Elixir Sulfanilamide Incident or the S.E. Massengill Disaster, this event was a crucial point in U.S. history in regards to completely changing regulations for testing and distribution of drugs.
Not only did this drug forge the way for the passing of the U.S. Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FD&C) of 1938, it also put the systems in place which helped the United States avoid the devastating effects of the notorious drug Thalidomide in the 1960s. This fascinating horror documentary helps to provide insight into the importance of regulation of the drug industry to ensure the safety of a country’s citizens.

Hi jeet, as a fresher I suggest to get the job first..i each and every field, if you are good at work you will get promoted for sure .. so promotion is something how you work..if you are not working well even after so much of experience also you won't get promoted to next level and if you are good at work you will definately get promoted.. so there is nothing like fast promotion...it's not set like post 5 ye or 6 you will be manager..it depends on how you work...hope you get me.. all the best

Dear Team, this is not investigated by Dr Kalsey, she was involved in the Thalidomide tragedy don't mislead the facts.

Please read the wikipedia page of Dr Kalsey. She did assisted in this investigation as well. For thalidomide you can watch my video on thalidomide then it will be clear for you..so this is not a misleading information..thanks for the comment..
