actually our airport is currently upgrading which will be finish by its new modern architecture by 2014. :)

no income tax in brunei, basic services are sufficient, roads are well-maintained, nice houses are surrounded by enough trees and birds, no loud noises or diseases or natural calamities. no beggars, starvation is not part of their dictionary. education and health care are free, housing is subsidized and work is always available. I ENVY THE PEOPLE.... they are contented.

Was the Sultan and his large family in this flight? His younger brother is a playboy prince many years ago! I was in a Brunei A330 flight to Kuala Lumpur via Brunei airport few yrs ago, Gosh! the Brunei airport is small and not impressive at all! The shops there are so quiet that they could fall asleep! With his vast fortune of oil money, he can afford to build a new bigger modern airport to cater for his 747 and all the big aircrafts! They dont want to open up the tourism industry at all.

@@mustapayusop7298 Brunei has imposed the feared Sharia Law but only for Muslim in the country'. The Sultan fear his citizen will expose western culture and influence, etc. But his own brother was into western ways of life in in UK many years ago.

Its not all that ? ,painting it pretty pink would defo suit them ? 1, they dont sell tobacco an most defo dont sell alcohol anywhere !! and if you get caught smoking or drinking they will chop your hands off !!! could you live there ?? income tax ??? im not suprised when the average wage is a mere £200 stirling .. per month .
