Homozygous is going to be either dominant or recessive (XX or xx). It’ll be expressed in the phenotype. As far as heterozygous, you won’t be able to tell because it could either be XY or Xy, both will be phenotypically the same.

You are saying that because a pair of unaffected parents had affected son. So in that case the female is carrier and not completely affected. So one of the sons would be affected and one daughter would be carrier.

10:47 That Pedigree can be considered both an Autosomal Dominant and an X-linked Dominant. Statistically, it leans toward an X-linked Dominant; however, it still CAN be an Autosomal Dominant.

Why autosomal ? If it was autosomal, then the progeny will be affected irrespective of their sex (since diseased allele is on autosomal chromosome, and not on X or Y sex chromosomes). But in the example we see if Father is carrying the disease-allele, then it is being inherited to all the daughters Because diseased Father has only one type of X to pass to all the daughters. (It has Y to pass to his sons. And Y rarely is seen to pass any disease in pedigree). It's clearly an X-linked. Dominant because it doesn't skips any generation.
