Hello sir, thank you for the video. I just have one question though. What is actually the significance of constructing such shuttle vectors? When i am producing insulin from E.coli, i just take the regular plasmid and clone my transgene that i want it to express. And Yeast also has its own plasmid. It also should be able to do the sam way or not? Why bother to make shuttle vector so that it can work on both when they can function independetly?

Question is that why it necessary for shuttle vector to incorporate into both bacteria and yeast, if for multiplication of our target gene so why only one host cell can't do this?
