Cyno wouldn't know what a gnosis is. Also, none of the characters, including the gods, would know what a demon name is. The demon names of the gods come from Ars Goetia, a real-life book that includes the many names of demons. Not just the archons have the names, by the way. Gouba, the stove god, has a demon name "Marchosius" which is actually his real name. Xiangling just named him Gouba after her childhood snack.

I’m not sure if our demonology exists in genshin the way it does here. So honestly I’m not sure if they would recognize “Buer” as a demon name or not. It’s more likely that these are known as archon names, rather than demons. (Although for us it’s the opposite)

yes, i agree. to my knowledge, the archons have 2-3 titles. their name, archon name, and (optional) nation name. for the anemo archon, his name would be venti and archon name barbatos. for the geo archon, his name would be zhongli, archon name morax, and nation name rex lapis. electro archon’s name ei, archon name beelzebul, and nation name raiden shogun (for makoto it’s makoto and baal). dendro archon nahida, buer, and lesser lord kusanali, and hydro archon furina and focalors. that way of referring to it makes sense for me.

You're right, Our demonology doesn't exist in Tevyat It would be weird for people to worship god's knowing they're demons

Those demon names are classified as Archon names for Teyvat, so they won't find fault into it. But for us, they are technically Demon Gods, with those names.

Btw most people of sumeru know what aranara are!(example being collei trying to speak to them and the aranara being afraid of tighnari) Its just that they're believed to be a fairy tale
