Building the house itself for me is not hard, it's mainly the roof that I cannot ever do. It always comes out failed, which brings me to why I am watching Sims 3 Builds, they give me ideas. :) This house is beautiful, by the way. I love it.

I haven't spent much time at all building in the sims 3 (mostly because i haven't played sims 3 much due to how poorly it runs on lower end computers) but the building seems so much more intricate compared to sims 4. I feel like terrain editing tools really enhance building and it's a shame we don't have that in the sims 4 yet. I really do enjoy the sims 4 though, and it is the game that made me start to enjoy building.

unfortunately the sims 3 also runs poorly on high end machines, due to bad programming.

Aye. North Carolina! But yes, it gets FREEZING cold in winter here at the beach. People do Polar Plunges into the ocean in February. I've never done it but I'm hoping to one day ahah

So much green! I like the tiling you do for some of the bathrooms. I've never seen wooden walls mixed with another type on the same wall like that, I thought that looked really nice.

this house is amazing! I occasionally feel like building in ts3 but then I remember how much it lags and the fact that my pc needs to be retired haha maybe another day xD you are by far the most entertaining person :)

My T he Sims 3 just stopped work, I reinstalled it but still so I had to uninstall the game and I kinda miss it! And I love your videos, I downloaded lot of your houses, they were awesome. :-)

omg...i had a discuss about "roofs/rooves" about 3wks ago at work and I and my coworkers too were confused. I was like we say "hoof/hooves", etc.- but why does "rooves" just sound awkward? We couldn't figure it out. 😅 I'm glad it's not just us.

gorgeous house, love the beachy colouring. gonna try doing sth like it myself... how long did the whole build take? it looks so complicated and I wouldve gotten frustrated as hell just with the roofing. anyways impressive build!

First of all, I am so sorry if my English is not perfect. Your house is completely awesome but in some rooms your Sims can't move, for example in the kitchen and in the dining room (the one near the kitchen). I tried to do this and my Sims weren't unable to move. (When I use "moveobjets on/off" I have horrible bugs like my Sim under the map or the actions that I command are simply gone ... did you have the same problem as I had ?) GG for the roofs, so amazing job ! :D

+M I can't remember exactly where that rug is from, but I do know that it comes with a Sims 3 Store pack. It might be from Roaring Heights or Midnight Hollow, but I'm not sure.
