By the way, if you go back to the teaser for this song, if you recall, it shows Suga reading the newspaper, which says 2022, the beginning of a new era, good-bye covid. Also says, life goes on, but it also clearly says on top right side, of paper, that the 'purple balloons' are harbinger to the future, meaning once they're released, it will mean covid-19 is over. Also they even used sign language once again, saying 'joyful, be happy. Let's dance'. BTS also used sign language saying I Luv You in BTS song Boy With Luv at the very end when they raise their hands, making a sign for I love You!

SUGA has been saying phrase about falling and landing since 2018 - "I'm afraid of falling but I'm not afraid of landing" - he said on multiple occasions, during interviews, festa, etc and now they used his words in this song

I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun. I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll". I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun. The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too. I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along. It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter. Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun. Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us. You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them. Thankyou BTS for a wonderful birthday present.

This is very pop for me but it does cheer me up. It is very “Americana”. I just wish they haven’t toned down the diversity of their vocal characteristics (For some reason they sound less distinguishable here to me). I can’t stop tapping my feet. But I am not sure if this is better than BUTTER. I enjoy them both!

I know right when the MV came out 😘 MY ARMY HEART I silently screamed when I got notified but I had to hold it in while freaking out at the same time; I thought my heart would come out of my chest. The transition from BUTTER MV was #SmoothLikeButter into bringing their third FULL ENGLISH track with upbeat cutesy summer vibes turning into BANGTAN COWBOYS with western style concept; the song was composed by Ed Sheeran. Everything looks so amazingly fun including BTS *My baby JK 😎 brings back his ”Danger” era self but with a more mature look in all black 😁 Don’t even get me started on my boys SUGA and V - They all killed it.* They even using sign language to spell out PERMISSION TO DANCE (if i’m not mistaken) and THE PURPLE BALLOONS REPRESENT ARMYs SOULS LOL 💜😝 OMG they dropped a WORLD TOUR hint along with others (ssshhhh, not telling hehe) #PermissionToDance #BTS #EdSheeran #StopAsianHATE *I haven’t yet seen the behind the scenes video yet of how they filmed it but if i’m not mistaken in my observation they seemed to have filmed this somewhere in South Korea in a desert area since they’re still not able to travel outside of Asia except for maybe to Jeju Island and Japan; the seem to have added some global dancing clips unless it’s all from the same place but within different areas.*
