The weather was spectacular, The fishing wasn't exactly exhilarating but it was very enjoyable all the same.
Its been a slow start to the summer as far as catching goes here in the North East, but we keep plugging away and get some good rewards.

Unfortunately it's becoming rare to see a nice clear blue sky without the white lines or grids made by those drones that become a haze.

Lovely days fishing. Been up to Neist point today, lost a good pollack but the rest were coalies. Not helped by the seal that wouldn’t bugger off.

I was there for an hour or so with you at Dunstanburgh on Saturday, spinning next to Gary before heading off to fish Duridge Bay. Hope you had a good session.

8:37 Some of those spots you get to look great, but with a dodgy leg there's no way I could get anywhere close. Is there any easy access rock spots around the North East you know of, it would be much appreciated by 2 Piscatorial Pensioners 😁😁😁🎣🎣👌👌👌

When i go rock fishing up whithorn,i do a bit of lure fishing then i drop a small or half a big sandeel,with a small weight more or less straight down,always works for pollack

Haven't been able to find any decent kelpies or pollock around Eyemouth either. I wonder if it has anything to do with the sandeel fishing ban that came into effect earlier in the year.
