Love the Florida Blue Striped Garters. I used to own one that I cohabbed with a Canadian Red-Sided. I was trying to get red, white, and blue offspring…but they never mated.

Wonderful. That anery pygmy was super nice. The scarlet snakes down there are huge. Here in Arkansas ive never seen one more than 7 or 8 inches. And the little scarlet king was awesome as well. What a dope little bro. Great trip. It's been disgusting how dry and hot it's been here in Arkansas. I hope you're doing well. Catch you on the flip-side(of the tin stack) Richard from Arkansas

The lone horseshoe crab that you picked up was a female, interesting because it’s pretty much the end of the breeding season for them in Florida, when you find them earlier in the season (usually peaks around March that far south) close to 100% of females will have a male hanging on the back. It’s only at the end of the season that you can find lone females, which tends to hold true even up here in New England too

Ribbons are much more slender and usually have less busy pattern! Both are really variable though, so it can be tricky. But just remember that a Garter will always be about twice as girthy as a Ribbon of similar length.
