I'll go first:
I'm Kaela, a Homeschool Graduate turned Homeschool Momma of two girls. We are a Latino family, living our best life in a little 1930s fixer-upper in Texas. Although we are a family of faith, we typically stick to secular resources in our homeschool. I love homeschooling, pretty books, dance breaks, and turning my humble abode into a home. Oh, and a lot of coffee!

Love the yes day ideas! I was inspired by her post too, but it makes me so nervous 😂 I’d love to hear how those go!

We've done a few yes days! They are super fun for everyone. I truly love being able to say yes to all of the things that for whatever just don't work most days. Our rules: 1) we can't leave the state (lol, one kid saw it as an opportunity to fly to Paris!); 2) they can choose *when* screen time is but not *how much*; 3) the budget is the budget; 4) you can't ask for more yes days on a yes day (like you can't as a jinni for more wishes). Hope you and your kiddos enjoy yours!!

My almost 6 year old has been beening asking for a yes day, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. This is a great way to do it! Thanks for the idea! We're doing slow school with some breaks. We live in Austin, so come mid-July, we'll probably be tired of the heat.
